What did you replace it with?

Glad it got a good home and didn’t end up at the tip.

Certainly would be a nice gesture for Marshall.
I didn’t even attempt to enter the Saturday last time just went straight for the sunday as there was 7 of us in total (not all entered by me) and we all managed to get a spot no problem.

Used the concept store once and they were great. Bad experience from Chevin has put me off.

Can’t be that optimistic if you’ve opened a PP dispute.

Not sure how you would get on with cars such as Audi Rs’s and BMW M’s as I’m not sure they have a tow bar load rating which might cause problems when it comes to insurance. Something to consider.

I’ll join the line if your willing to post….
I run the Duke of Edinburgh Award at my school with very little funding. Always looking for equipment partially tents to practise with.

Just come across this, really fancy a bird zero/nukeproof scout or orange crush. How are people getting on with their scouts? Thinking of a frame only option and slowly building it up.

I’m more shocked these days when I turn up somewhere and there is no fee to park (Stainburn and Langsett for example). Everybody knows how generous us yorkshire folk are when it comes to putting our hand in our pocket

As tj said can’t imagine that 20mm would make a huge difference (negative). Why would you not consider used?

That’s good to hear. There was a guy on the Trigger thread that had bother with a carbon frame. I suppose if there churning out so many there will always be a few failures.

Don’t feel as bad now…. looks like somebody else has done the same thing.

I’ve had a tescos ad pop up a few times today…. only way to get rid of it is to leave the STW site. Anybody else had any bother?

That’s good news glad you got it back.

I’d happily do both days. Did add my name to the waiting list to ride but doubt I’ll get a place so thought I’d offer to Marshall instead.

I looked at these a few weeks ago but was put off by the low run time.

I’ve been emailing them about buying a t shirt and they’ve been pretty good at responding. Hope you get the camera back.

I’ve got the butcher/purg combo both with grid casing. We’re spot on for this year’s ard rock, not sure how the purg will deal with sloppier conditions though.

I’ve got a park pcs 9. Think it was about £80. Great for most things but can be a bit unsteady if you need to really get some leverage on something. Worth considering though.

I have also had success with pink bike and also gumtree. You often have to tolerate a few chances but there’s quite a high volume of traffic through those sites.
You need to get the price right first time and be reasonable, I’ve often come across over priced bikes which then get reduced slightly each week. Them seem to takes ages to sell or don’t sell at all. If you are prepared to post this also opens up a much wider audience. Make sure you add your rough location too.

    Good luck with the sale

The site was unusable to me yesterday. That pop up appeared after a few minutes and my phone wouldn’t stop vibrating. Not had it happen today.

Was the speed adjuster in the the correct position when bleeding? (can’t remember if it should be fully in or fully out).

Had Clarks a few times and never really inspired me. My mistake maybe.

Avoid the Clarks ones. Used them in the past and they weren’t very good.

I used specialized grid tyres on this year’s ard rock. Ran them tubeless and had no problems at all.

Do you know if the wheels came tubeless ready? If so they should have the correct tape already applied.

My mate came off on stage 2 sunday, shoulder was uncomfortable but managed to finish the ride. Hospital visit yesterday and he has a small cracking in his clavicle and tendon damage.

Rode my trigger on yesterday’s Ard Rock Enduro….. the bike made me look better than I am and was pretty much faultless apart from an issue with the chain.

Rode Sunday- 24.58, that’s my longest ride this year, definitely need more saddle time before next year. Chain snapped on stage 3 and fell off, rolled most the way down and had a 30 minute stroll afterwards to go find it. Other than that I’m out of excuses.

    Great day though!

Not sure how much use the strava link will be. I was under the impression the route changed each year. For 2016 there are 6 timed stages. Running a specialized purgatory on the rear, still undecided on the front I’ll see what the weather does.

Remember to call in at the RWD stand as they are giving away free brake pads to all riders.

Oops just re read the title…. my advice would be to definitely link both Stainburn and swinsty to do both or alternatively bike from Pateley bridge. Plenty to go at round there.

Stainburns good, small and technical however it was quite overgrown when I visited a few weeks ago. Maybe combine Stainburn with swinsty. There’s some nice trails worth visiting and you can cycle between the two if you don’t mind a bit of road.
