Hostel aren’t everyone’s cuppa tea but I stayed at hotel Ali which was right in the centre overlooking the square. Amazing buzz and food, markets and entertainment on the doorstep.

That looks great, the pru I used to work in were really big on outdoor education but we had nothing like that. Have heard another local school has a small xc loop that changes in difficulty depending which way it’s ridden.

If seeing a bird zero TR in the flesh is any use I’m just the other side of Queensbury.

I belive the hoses are different. I removed my connectamajig as I wanted to get up and running but no local stores had the hose in stock.

I bought a Zero TR in October. Wasn’t sure about going 1×11 as my fitness isn’t great but really enjoy getting out on it. Went for the basic model with a few changes and added a dropper post. Haven’t ridden my full susser since getting it.
    Its a very capable bike.
    Service from Bird was amazing.

How much will you get for it? Sometimes bikes get to the point where they just aren’t worth selling unless you really need the space.

Not done that particular combo but mixed and matched various shimano levers and calipers in the past with no problems.

A friend rides a deedar, nice bit of kit but was surprised how much heavier than my bird zero it was.

I’m hoping to get a place. Done the last two Ard Rocks but away next year so can’t make it. Looks like there’s only the 1 event at Ard Moors is this correct?

Entries open at 6.30am, you have 25 minutes to enter up to 6 riders.

I see the price of camping is now £10 per night… Ard Rock 2015 it was a flat rate of £5.

Out of interest what sanction did you expect?
I’m sure staff that investigated the incident will have taken all aspects into consideration including any previous form.

Ard moor entries go live on 25th Nov, seems to be much earlier than last year.

My zero only took a few days. Delivery itself took less than 24 hours. They are great at keeping you in the loop, I even got a reply to an email at 10pm on a Saturday night.

My recent tactic has been to keep an eye on the wanted ads. Can be slow going but managed to shift quite a bit on there.

Recently bought two 18v makita drills online from FFX. Bought the bare drills then sourced a charger from eBay and batteries from another site (3 batteries). A bit more hassle but all in spent approx £120.

These types of trips are becoming more popular, companies such as Outlook and world expeditions seem to be taking the lead. I was lucky enough to go to Morocco last year as a member of staff however the cost was much lower the 4k. Think it was approximately 1.5k and we encouraged pupils to fundraise as much of the cost as possible. Some pupils went on the trip having parents paid the full cost whilst others raised the full amount with a great deal of assistance from family.

Not sure where in West Yorkshire you are or what sort of distance your looking to ride. Routes local to me I quite enjoy are Elland woods, shibden, Esholt, Baildon, St Ives and Ogden. All areas worth looking at and most rides can be easily extended.

Always good to leave a job on good terms where possible, you just never know what the future holds. A negative reference could have an impact on future employment.

Just taken delivery of a bird zero TR and it’s amazing. Was worried about going 1×11 as I’m not the fittest but I actually feel faster.

My local Halfords leaves boxes round the back of the store. If there is one a reasonable distance it might be worth a trip. The weight can be an estimate, a quick google search should enable you to find out the weight of the standard bike.
Might be worth adding your location in case anybody has a box to offer.

As people have said pallets are free. Built one on a much smaller scale 3 years ago for the cost of £12. Bought the roofing from gumtree. Will post pictures tomorrow.

Put the hardest most uncomfortable saddle you can find on it and tell her you bought it for her then take her on an all day epic in some really crappy weather…… she’ll never want to ride the bike ever again leaving you to use it…. easy!!!!

Had a prophet myself and am an owner of a trigger at present. I understand that there’s always going to be problems/failures but seen a few too many from cannondale this last 12 months… my next bike will be a bird I think.

The Nukeproof certainly looks the part. My next bike won’t be a Cannondale!
