On the flip side to my previously mentioned PE teacher, we did have an excellent maths teacher who was really there to teach and if you wanted to learn he was really inspiring. Same with a stand-in woodwork teacher we had, he ran a carpentry business locally and stepped in when the regular teacher was off for a few months. Absolutely brilliant, real work skills that he just wanted us to learn.

PE / Geography Teacher – Mr Lander, ex-rugby player. Drove a 911 and thought he was the bees-knees. Savage bully.

Had a bike delivered by them, left it on the doorstep facing a busy main road.

Bodrum is Turkish food, do you mean the Greek Taverna just down a bit on Cowley Road?

For Turkish, go to NEF Istanbul on the Cowley Road.

Yeah, I’d go staged too. His minders were on the move towards the exit before he caught it in his frog-face.

The feral ginger beast of a cat, that seems to have adopted me, would drop that metal mickey in an instant.

The Robot is pretty cool though, atomic thunder-busters.?

North Oxford here too. Parked at Thornhill, travelled down on the bus then underground to start – got there earlier than expected.

Getting out and home was fine, even had time to stop for a pint before catching the bus back.

Lost Paddy, our 11 yr old Springer, in October. Unwell for a week then fell asleep in our arms one evening.

He was my shadow, and unless it was a foreign holiday, by my side everyday or under my desk in the office 🙂

For the first couple of months it was a massive change in routine and was missed desperately everyday. I got some lovely artwork to put on the wall for Christmas from the family along with a lovely picture book containing loads of FB pics from when he was a pup until the fateful week.

Strangely, up until last week he didn’t feature in my dreams, but does now and always in a comforting way.

Sad times but they do get easier. Sorry for your loss.

Another vote for Baldur’s Gate 3. Although I do like to revisit XCom 2 from time to time.

There’s version 3 coming out soon. Probably a few v.2’s being flogged to purchase the upgrade.

    I’ve a v.2 and it’s fun.

Do it now, here online: Print Make, register or end a lasting power of attorney: Overview – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) – http://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney/

Fill in all the details, print them off and get them signed. Make sure you date the signatures in the correct order. Submit to the Office of the Public Guardian with the fee. They’ll take around 12 weeks to be registered.

15 yr old lad worked all last summer dry-stone walling, 70 notes a day cash in hand, did look right hard graft though. 7am-4.30pm.

But hang on, aren’t the UK Gov threatening to deport kids to Rwanda if they come across in small boats, probably without food, water and decent sanitation? Why can’t we “relax the rules” for them rather than Polly who’s missed a day of Skiing?
