You will be able to leave whenever you want. Probably nothing in the contract stating a minimum time you must give notice for. Also my dad works in a law firm and says that it would be really easy to defend a case such as yours if it were to go to court (which it wouldnt because no company is going to sue anyone for leaving in the current climate-sure there are plenty of people willing to take your place…)

cant u just use a screw driver on the end of the nipple instead of the spoke key? Hence all you need is the book…

tbh you are best off getting your bike shop to do it. It will only cost a fiver or so and gets rid of the risk of flaring your headtube, which means the frame is a write off. You can buy a tool like this- http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=10223 which will also do the job but wont let you install cups.

The main question you have to ask yourself is how often you will be removing/installing headsets. If you are going to be doing it more than four or five times, the you would be better off buying the headset press. If its just going to be once or twice, get your lbs to do it.

tighten up the cones and the nuts and then back the cones out half a turn into the nut. Makes things nice and tight so they wont loosen off over time…
