Would a Bike To Work Scheme value it as less than £150 after all this time?

discovered this a few weeks ago and am now up to speed, up to series 7. The female lead character is annoying but always makes up with it with her hotness. You get to see her boobies.

take a look at Wilfred, about a depressed bloke who sees a dog as a real person instead of an animal that everyone else sees

5yo can drink at home. I was allowed weak drinks from about 9-11 (I forget) – removed the taboo and desire to drink at the park at 14-15 when my peers were

Im not reading all 19 pages, but get the gist.

Some might find John Bargh’s et al research interesting. I dabbled in some of this type of research in my previous career. There might not be conscious awareness, but people arent impervious to priming from their environment.

    His findings include:

    – giving someone a hot drink to hold, vs a cold one, results in the subject giving more positive, ‘warmer’ ratings to an ambiguous person described

    – after completing a word search to find word relating to old age, vs neutral words, subjects were slower to walk down the corridor when leaving the lab

    – after completing a word scramble game priming for ‘achievement’, participants performed better than controls on an intelligence test

after late 80s should be OK, certainly by early 90s. If in doubt, a test will cut about £30 (so google says). Why not just skim or overboard it?

What do you feel rocker camber gives you that is different from alpine?

dunno what ‘alpine’ means. i guess you are referring to a normal reverse camber all-mountain freestyle board. rockers have different sidecut radius, meaning they run shorter and so are lighter. plus the raised tips minimise changes of edge catching, making it easier to do flatland tricks.

as with bikes, you need the right tool for the job. basically, rockers are for if you like p1ssing about poping ollies off lips, etc, not high speed piste charging (they are typically soft for extra pop and so get flappy at speed).

[hijack]Where will I get the best deals for a phone call/good internet contract?[/hijack]

hotukdeals.com is a good source. depends if you want a 1 or 2 year contract for what you consider a good deal.

Ive just gone for this S2 one:
    £25.45/month, 2yr contract, 3GB data, 600mins, T-mobile

it’s allowed on pavements so surely it’s allowed on footpaths. the civil stuff is a red herring imho

Anyone pushing a bicycle is a “foot-passenger” (Crank v Brooks [1980] RTR 441) and is not “riding” it (Selby). In his judgment in the Court of Appeal in Crank v Brooks, Waller LJ said: “In my judgment a person who is walking across a pedestrian crossing pushing a bicycle, having started on the pavement on one side on her feet and not on the bicycle, and going across pushing the bicycle with both feet on the ground so to speak is clearly a ‘foot passenger’. If for example she had been using it as a scooter by having one foot on the pedal and pushing herself along, she would not have been a ‘foot passenger’. But the fact that she had the bicycle in her hand and was walking does not create any difference from a case where she is walking without a bicycle in her hand.

I read posts on here before buying the Switch. There didnt reaaly seem to be issues like some have had with the Superleggera ones, aside from maybe needing a bit more grease.

They make a noise when free wheeling, which I actually like and is a good bell alternative

they are baselayer style – tight fitting. Im 36″ chest, 5’8″ and skinny. Small fit me perfectly as a baselayer. Decide if you want stretched, tight to the skin (go for small) or close-fitting, not stretched, but not too baggy (medium).

dont wash them higher than 40

I did it for £1k with an RRP of well over £2K with the help of those cheap mmbop frames and carefully sourced sale parts and the odd BNWT classified items.
This the first proper mtb Ive owned, partly for the fun of learning how to do it and learn about bikes.

    link to cost
I few cost cuts, such as drivetrain, which I think were acceptable cos it permitted buying superior forks and brakes
