You need to let the CO2 escape, just crack open the lid a little if you’re not using an airlock.

The can of malt extract you used it what’s known as ‘kit beers’; be warned, after a few kits it’s a slippery slope to all garin brewing and the bike shed fighting for room with a brewery!

Jason, what bars, rack and box combo have you got there?

I bought a 750mm wide box last year with Whipbar through bars and am wanting to fit two bike carriers like you’ve got there. I reckon I’ve got 450mm to play with with the box right to one side.

Eden are supposed to be good, I’m wanting one of their Santoku knives. We’ve got a couple Lion Sabatiers at the mo (Cheffs & Carving) but they I find they don’t keep a good edge even when using one of their honing steels.

Were off to the Peak next weekend with our 2 month old. I too am a bit paranoid about waking the entire campsite up! She’s not too bad but I’m not sure how she’ll do in a new environment. But hey, me and the missus deserve a mini holiday damn it!
