The workshop at work is next to a grain store, when I first started it fookin stank of mouse piss, I don’t really notice it now.

One waddled off after taking some bait and made its final resting palce the back of the fridge, atop the comprssor

It can be flakey IME – crashing when clicking off a map tile for instance. But that may be my, ahem, differently acquired copy.

Trap plus chocolate cake = job done!

We caught the little bastard yesterday after a few days running a muck in the loft. Candles were what it was after.

jury members are picked ta random from the population

I’m not convinced it is all as random as they make out- LOADS of my wife’s colleagues (Local Council) and a mate’s (Defence Estates) get called up compared to others in the private sector.

My mum just ignored the letters when she was called up years ago and nothing ever came of it. But she’s a stupid bint- I wouldn’t recommend her cause of action.

If you’re using an external BB it may be worth having the LBS face the BB shell if you have them do the headset.

A bottle of white the missus picked up then a pint of my latest creation, a nutty brown mild. Bloody hell, one of the best beers I’ve had- let alone made! If only I’d have made an exact note of the last minute additions to the grain bill…

A mate of mine at uni at had an RC200. Even I was really gutted when he sold it. What a lovely bike. And what a lovely hand crafted instrument, I’d say that’s a bargain at a grand.

Ahh, I see- so they’re not necessary promoted as separate events. A sprint relay seems not really worth it- you’d just be getting warmed up! I’ll have a look into local events more deeply.

OK, so a ‘relay tri’ is probably what I’m wanting but still googling that there’s a dearth of events…

I think my problem was to leave too much stalk on the flowers, it had a certain ‘earthy’ note to it. I also added a packet of champagne yeast ‘just to make sure’!

Being a bit of a homebrewer brewer I gave it a shot 2 years ago- bloody ‘orrible it was- and quite dangerous in those cheap Ikea swingtop bottles! It did however get me shitfaced at a friends BBQ and produced one hell of a hangover. I didn’t bother boiling the flowers, not sure what that tells you!

Will have to give it another go.

    c) A Cotic Roadrat – the only commuter you are credibly allowed to spend more than £150 on

Tick! Just had to fork out £20 on a new BB. After six years I’m not complaining…

If you’re spending that much on your commuter, what the flip is your Sunday best?!?

I have the new version, it’s harder to find streetview,

I like it better, it seems quicker to load too. Still need to be less clunky overall though.

Another vote for the Kamei Husky from Roof Box. I brought ours last year with a set of Whispbars, the wider through bars, and I reckon I can just about get two Thule 532s on their with the box according to their quoted sizes.

It’s sooo much easier packing the car for a camping trip with the box, even allowing for all the extra stuff, and car seat, for a toddler!

Fuel consumption isn’t too bad either, I reigned it in a bit a couple of weeks ago- stayed below 70 most of the time- and still got over 50mpg from our diesel Cee’d.

I bought a jar of pasta sauce the other day for camping

We tend to use Loyd Grossman curry sauces when camping, anything heavily tomato based tastes ‘chemically’ to us.

On the surface it’s seems like a cop out from the teacher, but on reflection if half the kids end up being able to cook a half decent meal themselves, all be it with a jar of sauce, it’s better than them thinking every meal has to come in microwave tray or take-a-way.

Growing up I thought the only way to make a casserole was to bung a packet of Schwartz powder into a pot of meat, veg and water- as well as other travesties. My favorite meal was ham salad…

Going to Uni and having to cook for myself was a revelation!

Obviously the OP cares about the little one’s culinary education and will take the time to teach him/her to do it properly. It’s never to early; I was baking a chocolate cake for the wife’s return from a hen do last weekend with our 1 year old in her highchair in the kitchen and talking her through it 😳 😆

The trouble is with us we’re totally bespoke, people often leave even more confused than when they came in! Without having a catalogue of 10 kitchen styles to choose from some people are completely lost.

As mentioned above, get a sketchup model knocked up and get a feel for the space. Throw a few units in and see what floats your boat. Pick up a few kitchen magazines and see what kind of thing you’re after, grey units and white stone worktops seem to the the order of the day round our way.

Wait, stop! Go now to a kitchen showroom and say “we’re thinking about having an extension done. Next year, hopefully ready for Christmas. We’re just looking round for design ideas really.”

We kitchen designers love that shit we do! 😆

A hearty pasta dish the night before and a good few dollops of porridge with lashing of golden syrup for breakie should do the trick, unless you’re doing stoopid mileage.

I keep meaning to get round to hooking up an Arduino to a PIR sensor and get a gert big security light / horn in my shed. An effing loud horn would be preferable but I don’t fancy it going off and waking half the street every time a snail gets in the shed!

    Cheers,
    Jamie
