Don’t normally do football. Thought I’d watch tonight’s a bit. Wow. Just pathetic.
You just got unlucky. Should have watched Japan v Belgium or Argentina v France. Personally, I have lost my love of football of late, but I do like these threads as, like Apple threads, it smokes out those who engage with something despite knowing they don’t like it, and then moaning about it.
Very wrong. Breakfast is exactly what is says and is also a primary fuel source for the day – you put fuel in the car before the journey don’t you?
Skip breakfast and potentially – bearing in mind the 6-10hrs fasting beforehand – your body entered a famine state trigger and starts storing fat in response. You’re far better have a big healthy breakfast and cutting out snacks and a large evening meal, having moderate high protein/low fat lunch & dinner’s.
IHN basically says what I would have replied to that.
I do admire your absolutism, tho, Kryton. Good to see you being assertive.
Yes. I am not stating this as a fanboy for either side, but it’s demonstrably true that Sony has more exclusives. This seems to be continuing if E3 announcements were anything to go by (Spiderman, Death Stranded, Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice etc).
Off the top of my head in the last couple of years there has been:
Bloodborne, Uncharted 4 (+DLC), Horizon Zero Dawn, God Of War, Detroit: Being Human, The Last Guardian, Nier: Automata, Persona 5, Yakuza 6 and other indie games I probably have forgotten.
But, I digress, give your requirements, I think get a PS4 and Detroit: Being Human and/or God Of War and you’re set. Keep the Xbox to pick up any upcoming exclusives that come out on that platform like Ori 2 and Cuphead DLC.
FWIW, I bought an Xbox One, as skipped a generation, to play the exclusives. After Ori and the Blind Forest and Gears I was more or less done. I think you’re right in the assertion that MS do a lot of things right with hardware and the backend, but gaming seems to be all about the big franchises with the occasionally gem like Cuphead/Ori coming through.
We’re 111 pages in, but how this was all going to play seemed obvious in the first 10-20. Not sure why people are expecting anything to magically change?*
Drac alluded to it on the previous page, but not sure what the actual difference to ‘how things are going’ would be if this thread was taken round the back of the barn and shot.
*Apart from wanting a place they’ve called online home for 5-10+ years to be semi-functional of course.
