Is the bathroom in an attic conversion / storey and a half house?
If yes I’d seriously investigate the insulation in the sloping ceiling and behind the vertical coom walls!
The above suggestion re. any extract fan may also be pertinent as it effectively s 100mm dis. open vent.
Other than that it looks to be a very slim (500mm?) towel rail…how tall is it and what’s the output

It’s fairly common to pay a deposit and the balance prior to delivery.
As mentioned in the OP erection is extra and once it’s up you’re not removing it due to non-payment!

I’d strongly doubt Ferrari had any knowledge of this but it does have a certain resemblance to a previous case…no photocopier this time though!

In this day and age I’d suspect there’s a lot of data leaving the building in the months and weeks prior to an employee handing in their notice…

You want to check out “Windy Wilsons Weather and Road Reports” on the Facebook.
FWIW I’d leave the van where it is.

Building Control in Scotland is completely different to England. It is entirely administered by local authorities under regulations passed by the scottish office.
Where there are any structural alterations plans require to be overmarked,at the very least, and an SER Certificate provided.
In you case it sounds like you need confirmation that your wall is non-load bearing, or you need the engineer to specify the method of bearing the floor joist over the wall being removed. Your patio door will also need certified if the existing opening is being made wider. If it’s a straight forward cut down the architect will be capable of describing the method in line with the regs.
Remember no work can start until your building warrant has been issued.

I’ve got the oneup 42 tooth expander and am using with the addition of the oneup 18t sprocket.
Shifting, as for MBMc, isn’t 100% but it is bearable in the short term. Basically I can index every gear including the expander, however no matter how hard I try I can’t get the 18t indexed without all of the other gears falling out of line…
Its bearable as all I have to do to get in to 18t is half throw the shifter and it moves up seamlessly. No problems shifting down the block though!
Set up is XT Cassette, SLX shaddow+ long mech with the limit screw wound out as far as it’ll go.

Gorilla tape tears easy and follows the tear down the roll as you go. Has anyone tried this?

An easy way of doing this is to use a book the same thickness of tape that you require, lay a knife on top and then cut in to the tape and rotate the roll to give a uniform thickness of cut through several layers of tape. Was handy in the days before 25mm tape was available in homebase.
A decent idea to just tape in the groove, however the extra layers of tape are handy if your tyre is ‘baggy’

Interesting to hear that Evans will both present and produce the show.
As for a female presenter I’d like to see Susie Wolfe give it a bash. She is always knowledgeable and enthusiastic during her stints on Sky F1 and unlike ‘the other’ Suzi she seems to have something more to offer than the occasional thigh flash…

I’ve had a Parkwood for almost a year now. Went on to it straight from steel and carbon 456’s. I like it a lot, it goes up and down exceptionally well considering the rider is around 16 stone, however there are a few niggles that I live with…
It is harsh at the rear end, I’d never really noticed just how harsh it was until tackling the breaking bumps at Glentress last week.
Its not as nimble through the slow technical switchbacks (this could be my lack of skill) as i’d ideally like.
Finally I find the front can get exceptionally light with no warning. A couple of times I’ve found myself pedaling up steep techy sections only for the front wheel to suddenly lift with no warning.
Mine is the original Deore/Reverb spec however the bars were swapped out for knuckleballs and the wheels for Flows on Pro2 running tubeless. Weight is around 29lb’s IIRC.

Try loading up your shower tray before sealing in the same way that a plumber half fills a bath before sealing, let it dry then remove the load.

If you go down the refurbishment route you can get slim double glazed units to fit the period astragals.
Check out Slimlite in Scotland or Timbalite else where.
Beware…may be costly, as others have said you do get good UPVC sliding sash windows these days that can be finished in most RAL colours. My only advise would be to have the astragals fitted between the panes of glass as the planted ones tend to fall off!

Lovely bike, rides exceptionally well up and down, but do beware…the headset and X12 rear do start to bump up the price of your ‘cheap’ frame.
Mine is built up with Hope Enduros, 2013 Reba RL’s, SLX groupset, XT chain cassette, 1 x 10, Reverb and IIRC is around the 30lb mark.
Bought mine as a frameset for £550 but ditched the fork and headset it was supplied with before riding it.
    Gratuitous photo…

My old office only had 2 WC’s shared by 20 male/female staff.
The upstairs WC was generally considered by the men to be for for numbers 1’s onle and the one by the back door for number 2’s (naturally) as the girls tended not to go out the back door so no embarrassing meetings as you came out the door.
One day some foul creature (must have been a woman) decided a number 2 was in order and proceeded to use the upstairs loo….and then chopped their log off using the seat!
Cleaner only came in twice a week and the skidder on the seat stayed untouched for 2 days.
Needles to say the bog by the bag door became very popular with boy and girls alike.

Many will offer you the chance to buy, there is a matrix of value at the end of the period.

Totally understand this, my company still own my 456 for another 4 months before 5 years has passed I’ll take owenership for nowt.
But that’s a bike, not a well worn piece of “reflective clothing”…
    Edit…
The matrix also specifically mentions “Age of cycle”

The safety equipment / clothing thing has intrigued me ever since a mate spent an inordinate amount of money on a helmet, shoes, jacket, shorts etc.
Just wondering if anyone knows if the equipment is deemed to be yours after the initial hire period or is there a final valuation payment for what could be a high end, but scabby, smelly, well used jacket?
