I had a similar incident although slightly more hamfisted and knackered the piston trying to push it back in with a screwdriver….
Bought a new SLX calliper from CRC and attached it to the existing hose in minutes, then bled it a further few minutes.
Far less painful than the previous effort and restored my faith in myself as an amateur bike mechanic

We used to find that the slow cooker made everything to watery as we’d never have the time to remove the lid to allow meals to thicken slightly then the wife seen a tip about placing a clean dish towel over the pot before placing the lid on it. The towel soaks up the excess moisture created during cooking and allows the mixture to thicken. Much better chilies being created these days :-)

We use ALDI a lot but have found (at least my other halfs nose has) that their meat never reaches the sell by date on the packaging.
It did however prompt us to find a local farmshop butcher with better meat at lower prices :-)

I’ve had now TV for around 18 months and in that time have hardly ever paid full price.
I find that by going in to your account and cancelling your subscription they generate and offer to tempt you to stay. Currently we are paying £3.49/month for entertainment up to Feb 17 and £3.99 a month for movies again till Feb 17.
We also shared our password with my brother-in-law in return for one of his Netflix passes. IIRC you can register 4 devices with Now TV.

Had this issue on a couple of work PC’s, found a fix online that worked for us and it was to basically unplug any thing from the USB outlets that weren’t needed…in our case it was the wireless mouse/keyboard dongle.
I was stuck at 75% for 3 hrs till I found that fix!

Had the very same thing happen to me first time i went tubeless.
Popped a tub in, completed the ride went home and re-set the wheel up with the same tyre and it seated / sealed first time.
My theory is that it wouldn’t seal on the trail as every time the nail hit the ground it’d cause the exit hole to stretch letting out more air. All we had to do is remove the nail and it would *probably* have sealed…

I’ve used an Aldi hand pressured one and a Ronseal power one.
Both were equally as awful as the other and resulted in having to wash large amounts of over spray off the white gravel before it dried.
granny_rings brush is the answer IMO.

Has Rosberg actually gone out and won a race this year?
By won I mean challenged or been challenged, as far as I can remember there has been no race long wheel to wheel duel with his team mate and he has more often than not benefited from outside influences.
Just to balance things out I’m not a fan of either Mercedes drivers, however whilst they are in the dominant position it’d be good to see them have a lights to flag race at least once this season…

Was in St Annes 3 weeks ago with the wife, kids and our Aldi stunt kite.
Spent the best part of an hour trying to get it up and failing massively despite the strong on-shore wind.
Couple of hours later a young lad (3ish) and his gran stroll past with their kite flying resplendently overhead.
My eldest pipes up “Daddy Daddy ask the boy if he can get our kite to work”…
Damn you Aldi, I lost Dad points that can never be recovered

There is no doubting Verstappen’s speed and his potential.
However Button’s assessment, and it has to be said you can see the evidence on the TV week in week out, of Both ‘Rosso drivers is that they are all over the road whenever you try to challenge them. Very much still driving as if they are in GP2. Be interesting to see how Max gets on in the thick of it with championship contenders around him.

Just phoned them to cancel the movie package…a saving of £17.50/month of £210.00 a year.

    The counter offer:-

    Movies for £9.98/month for 8 months = £60.16 saving
    Line rental £7.15/month for 12 months = £123.00 saving
Broadband free for 12 months = £90.00 saving
    HD £6.28 for 6 months = £30.00 saving

A total saving of £303.16…not bad for a 10 minute phone call.
