Watch what type of screed you put down.

Some of the fancy anhydrite screeds dry at a rate of 1mm to 2mm per day dependent on thickness and cost a bloody fortune….

The wife and kids got me the Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055) for Christmas. Having completed bags 1 to 3 I can confirm that it’ll be finished for Christmas this year!
Its seriously huge at just under 4000 pieces and IIRC approximately 400 x 760 x 400mm.
Really fancy the MAC Anthem (42078)Truck next.

Thanks OP, you just cleaned out my PP account!

As scary as it seems that is the going rate.
£500 per 1000 around here which is £30/m2.
For a 5 day working week your only having to lay 6.67m2 or 400 brick a day.
Wishing I’d learned a trade back in the day…

Just had a quick glance at the 2018 spec and as far as I can tell its identical to my 2017 model…except on price.

Not easy getting that bottle in/out chocolateteapot…lost count of the amount of times I’ve inadvertently locked the shock! Must get a side loading cage at some point.

Picked up an RS at the beginning of the summer, great bike, an absolute hoot to ride.
I’ve gone down steeper, gnarlier trails than ever before and it rides back to the top again no problem.
Haven’t changed anything from original spec apart from the grips…although the birthday bunny has just been and left me with a handful of notes that might get exchanged for a nice set of carbon Renthal bars.
I’ve also got a set of 200/180 icetech rotors that might find their way on to it. Being a slightly heavier fella I find the 180/160 can be lacking at times.

In the last couple of years the ‘genius’s’ at building standards have decided that houses should be air tight and its common practice to seal between the flooring and plasterboard and indeed between plasterboard and any surface that it butts up against.
Not surprising that there was then an article on the news about a housing association having to ‘train’ its elderly residents to open windows to prevent dampness and condensation…

I was looking at JB’s tyre selection, is there any chance he could do a 1 stop or is the deg too high?

Its Monaco…everyone does a one stop with long first stint unless unforeseen circumstances dictate otherwise.

So it’s tied to the driver, not the car

I think its the opposite, did this not come up last year and the PU is tied to the car?

Edit: IIRC when Verstappen and Kvyiat were swapped they each took on the others PU allocation.

What happens with power unit usage?
The Sporting Regulations state ‘if a driver is replaced at any time during the Championship season his replacement will be deemed to be the original driver for the purposes of assessing power unit usage

OK, I’ve checked and they are still taking up cupboard space…
How’d you feel about £125 plus postage?
The boxes are still in the attic so posting isn’t too much of a problem.

Remember the value is set by the surveyor that carried out the Home Report and not the Estate Agent.
Also, the vendor may be mortgage free and happy to hang on for what they think its worth.
All the above aside, offer less than what you’d be comfortable paying and see if you can negotiate to somewhere around your number.

If it’s a Mk5 and you’re near central Scotland my sister in law has/had a set of Atera aero bars with 2 Atera Giro bike carriers that were on her car around a month….before she traded it for an Astra
Could see if she still has them and get a price if you’re interested?

Good interview with Ross Brawn on Teds Notebook tonight.
Sounds like a man with a plan…or at least a man who’s going to take his time deciding on and implementing the right plan.

Try put the grill directly above the shower if possible to get rid of the steam at source.
Otherwise the moisture will still settle on the ceiling and eventually you will get water staining.
If ducting through a roof remember to insulate and fit a condensate trap.

£400 to £500/m2 ex VAT should get you in the ball park.
Probably at the lower end considering no drains or electrics and only 3 sides.

These guys Bike Club[/url] would appear to do something similar but with an option to buy after 2 years of rental (of the same bike) and it looks to work out at RRP on a second hand bike or £18* more on a brand new bike.

Been the last 2 years and booked again this year.
Think of it as a mini version of centre parc’s with traditional cottages over wooden chalets.
There are plenty of activities to keep all amused and the pool, whilst not huge, is fine for larking around in with a couple of slides and Jacuzzi’s.
Never made it to the on-site restaurants or spa but they are always highly regarded and i think the Tapas bar has just been refurbished. As mentioned above there is an excellent pub in Wrea Green just a short walk along the road.
Blackpool whilst grim is always a reminder of how good the place you live really is and the beaches at Lytham are fantastic.
