Hulk to Alfa, Giovinazzi’s had his shot and been outclassed by the grids senior citizen…

Just bought a Voodoo Nzumbi for my 8 year old, slightly on the large side but he can get his feet down and it’ll do him a good few years.

Was going to to hold off until Christmas but Halfords were doing 20% off when you traded in any working scooter or bike. Used the online code for a click and collect, went down to the store with a skip bound scooter in the boot and ended coming away with the scooter still in the boot!

Lovely bike, reasonably light and plenty of option to upgrade.

Have a look through the Halfords range.
They are currently offering 20% of all bikes when you trade in any working scooter or bike.
We’re about to pick up a 26″ Voodoo Nzumbi for £360.00 on Saturday.
Eldest is about to graduate from a Frog 55 to something a bit more capable.

It’s amazing how small amounts of money in an individuals pocket can accumulate into something spectacular in the right situation.
We often used to try and guesstimate the amount of liquid cash walking around T in The Park over a weekend….250,000 people x £100 each = £25,000,000 in a muddy field in Kinross!

The point of Red Bull having a driver development program is that they have a stable full of drivers ready to step up to the senior team

This might be true but iirc Verstappen was never in the junior program. He won 6 f3 races on the trot and was snapped up!
For what it’s worth they should have never let Saintz go, he is maturing into a handy driver.

I’ve just been through the exact same thing, turning 40 this year, always wanted one but was to feart I’d end up with a crap one.
Spent a few months trawling through all the online albums in the local studios Facebook and insta feeds before eventually I found one where I though all the artists work was good and there was no week link.
Went in and spoke to them with my ideas, likes and dislikes and they were able to recommend the artist best suited.
After a further consultation I ended up with exactly what I described and it incorporated everything I liked in tattoos.
My advice…do your research and take your time.

Gasley went to lap 27 on the same C5 compound and Grosjean to lap 50.
Hindsight aside regarding the medium tires needing treated with kid gloves, I’m not entirely convinced that someone, probably Verstappen, could have stayed out and made a charge in clean air over the next 10 to 15 laps and built up the required 20/22 seconds for a pit stop.

Just a thought, had either of the trio behind Hamilton not pitted during the safety car period could they have built up enough of a gap to pit and emerge in front while Hamilton was lapping up to 3 seconds slower than the ultimate pace whilst protecting his medium tires?

Point for fastest lap has been confirmed from this season…
Looking forward to the final few laps when anyone with a 25(ish) second gap goes for a glory run on the softest compound.

Sad times, saw them at the tail end of the 90’s supported by a very young Foo Fighters. Amazing live show…terrifyingly loud at times.
Think my lunch time daunder will be supported by Music for the Jilted Generation.

There is a video of the off which seems to show a failure at the rear of the car…perhaps suspension.

Disappointing that Sky are not track-side all afternoon this week, in fact a quick browse of the telly guide doesn’t suggest any testing programs!

And is anyone setting up the STW Fantasy F1 this year?

Unless the asbestos is disturbed or degrading in some way why go to the expense of having it removed? Its a few years since I done Asbestos Awareness training but my recollection is that its only dangerous if its disturbed or degrading.
Just a personal thing but I’m not entirely sure I’d pull out of a house sale due to it….in fact living in a 70’s Wimpey house I’d be surprised if my soffits didn’t contain some.

“scottish” is an ethnic group. “the people of Scotland” are the people who live here. So Connery is a scot, but he is no longer one of the people of scotland

What about The Big Yin?….I=is he still Scottish?

Caught Alonso’s stint around 4 hrs in where he took the car from 7/8th to first and opened up around a 20 second lead within 30 odd minutes.
On the brakes in to turn 1 no one could hold a candle to him, the move on the Mazda (77…Rene Rast?) for the lead was outstanding, came from miles back, late on the brakes, up the inside and away he went.
Also in the rain I’m sure his team mate Taylor admitted to being out his depth and they popped FA back in the car for him to be up to 5 seconds per lap quicker than the field.
Really enjoyable race, although the cars are not as fast as F1 you could really see the speed the cars were travelling at and the closing speeds between the different classes is unbelievable at times.
FA is a great driver but far too political for his own good, maybe a year in other series will see him re-evaluate and come back a little calmer than before for one last stab at a third WDC.

    Awesome, a teaser already.
Reports that this is nothing to do with the reboot but the original directors son taking over the reigns and carrying on the 80’s franchise.

Back to the OP for a minute.
Have you spoken to your house insurers? Whilst they will not cover the leak itself if it is due to a maintenance issue they may well cover your share of the consequential damage should the roof structure be knackered.
Also if any of the damage is malicious/accidental due to the parties on the roof you may have a claim depending on your insurances terms.
Either way if you can get a Loss Adjuster involved it’ll save you the headache.

Speak to a local building/joinery contractor as most will be happy to supply and fit windows for you.

The cost of the actual window/door is usually very low unless you’re looking at the modern Aluclad units. A standard white uPVC 1.4 w/m2k u-value French door 1800 x 2100mm is around £600.00 inc VAT with a triple glazed 0.90 w/m2k u-value version, anthracite on white retailing around £900.00 inc VAT.

Unfortunately D’glazing companies like to operate on a huge profit margin whereas a contractor will be happy with around 20% uplift on the materials plus their time for fitting.

Some reports of him taking shares in Sauber too.

I wonder if his profile will allow Sauber to get rid of Eriksson without to much financial loss and give Giovinazzi another go at F1?

Didn’t see that happening, but Renault have had multiple past success after periods of being mediocre or inactive. Fingers crossed he’ll be heading up a new successful period!

Now where does this leave Saintz? IIRC his Redbull contract could have been terminated if a RB seat was not available for 2019…

i thought Hamilton really brought something extra to his game today.

    You’re kidding right?

i watched the midfield all hold their line and let him glide past, not even a hint of defence…even Magnussen failed to defend!

worst part was the final few laps though, Grosjean made up 3/4 places in 2 laps and we didn’t get to see it.

    Entered as a pair.

First time ever doing something like this. Aiming for 3/4 laps depending on my climbing legs making the trip down with us.

How good/bad is this tunnel of love? Can it be compared to anything else at GT?

Can’t polish a turd – this appears to be trying to roll one in glitter

I disagree, looking at that front wing head on you can see exactly what they are trying to do and it seems to be heavily designed with energizing the floor in mind.

The central hole for their s-duct, the holes either side to feed air on to the floor area via the two side planes and I would presume then on to the diffuser area, the inside of the wing again looks to be directing air to the floor and the outside dealing with moving it away from the front tyres. It might not look good but if it works you’d better get used to it cause it’ll appear in various guises up and down the pit lane!

Never been a Mclaren fan but F1 needs Alonso up front fighting with the best, I really hope this update propels them and him forward.

Great story here about Renault being cheating (but very clever) French b******ds.

I’ve never heard that before but its absolutely awesome :-D
