Uhhhh, youngest used to get them frequently. A combination of being a thumb sucker and a live of digging in the mud.
I used to pop a dab of Sudocrem on the “area” until the Ovex kicked in and it seemed to help him get a decent nights kip.
The wife would them go on a mad cleaning spree of bedding, towels, soft furnishings, toys etc.
I’m not sure I’d choose to go down the external insulation route. If you’ve already got cavity wall insulation the benefit you feel will be minimal and then you’ve got the issue of actually fixing the cladding over the insulation.
If the Roughcast is sound you should be able to fix timber straps on top and fix the cladding back to these.
Budget anything from £50/m2 to £150/m2 for supply.
Don’t underestimate the joiners time required to fit.
Would have been nicer with a naturally slivering timber cladding, anthracite window frames and a sedum roof.
Nice couple, shame about the press it has generated in the local rags.
circulating under Virtual Safety Car for a few laps to see if that cleared the water
This. If nothing clears water better than 20 f1 cars circulating at speed why not send them out a set distance apart running to a set VSC delta. This way the drivers get a feel for the track at higher speeds than behind the safety car and a decent amount of water is continuously being dispersed to see if racing can commence. If anyone is daft enough and exceeds the delta they get pulled in to the pits and put to the rear.
This process could be started in anticipation of a weather window so the cars are ready to go when it appears rather than needing 15 minutes to gather the drivers and get the cars started by which point the weather window could have been and gone.
Clutching at straws but anything would have been better than 2 laps behind the safety car.
Cracking pair of polarised Mainlinks have arrived so I can now relegate the Flak Jackets from the last STW sunglasses PSA solely to riding duties.
Awesome PSA op, cheers.
The Crow kit is awesome.
Best fit out of the the long sleeved tops I own and the material has stood up well against all the usual forest foliage.
As an added bonus the top I’ve got was a perfect colour match against my Whyte 😂😂😂
Picked up a Fiji last week in Tesco (only popped in for milk). We’ve yet to set it up or even buy the chemicals. Picking up some good tips above re. filters but what are they actually like to use and keep the water clean? Do you ever need to ‘shock’ treat them?
I used the ghetto bin bag method last summer and in around 3hrs the top inch of water was noticeably warmer than the bottom 11 inches. Would the remaining water have heated if left long enough…I’ve no idea!
I’d also put something between it and the ground to minimise heat loss. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAxF32fA1LFaD5oyEtQ9_aa2XDbiFx8QFUY8yU0/
I’m with them too and to be truthful it’s not a surprise.
2018/2019 circa £103/month
2019/2020 circa £125/month EDF
2020/2021 £85/month Green Energy Network and we’re currently £60 in credit having submitted readings a fortnight ago.
A whole year stuck at home and we’re paying less than ever for gas and electric!
If you can hold out another couple of days the next generation of iPhones are released next week.
Might have an effect on the prices of the current lineup!
Been using Freetrade with reasonable success for a few months.
Easy to set up and make trades.
Happy to send you a link that gets you (both of us) a free share if you sign up.
Slightly off topic but I’ve been dipping a toe in to managing my own S&S’s with the Freetrader App. Aside from investing in Apple (new iphone), Tesla (just because), Sony (PS5) I’ve also put some cash in to Cineworld with my thinking being a) its cheap b) there is a raft of new films waiting for release c) one day life will **hopefully** return to normal and cinemas will be rammed. Am I delusional or could it be a good long term bet?
Managed to bag a Pre-order full fat PS5 from Amazon this morning with very little refreshing.
Looking forward to it as our house is still rocking a PS3.
Now do we wait until Christmas before unboxing it?….
With regards to Ferrari and their current engine issues I do wonder if a part of the sealed agreement is that they stop pushing what ever boundary they were pushing as well as a development freeze on the engine for a period of time. You certainly wouldn’t want your rivals (or customers) to know that your engine isn’t going to improve for the foreseeable!
Tracey,
Not sure if you will see this but the DM’s seem to be down so it’s my only avenue.
My packaging never came through and work took over. Before I knew it your bars arrived and kicked me Ito action!
Bars swapped, repackaged and posted within 30 minutes, went for pacelforce 24am so they should be with you before lunch tomorrow.
Let me know if there’s any issues.
Sorry for the delayed postage and thanks for the swap.

Do all 53 confirmed cases still have the virus or have some recovered?
I seem to remember the so called “super carrier” leaving hospital but don’t recall hearing anything about the Yorkshire student (Britain’s patient X) and his mother.
Spent years watching various tattoo programs on the telly and built up a pretty good image of what I liked but was always too nervous of ending up with a shit tattoo that I never bothered….until I hit that cliche age of 40 and went for it!
Tried a bike spoke but it wasn’t strong enough.
Hacksaw blade is a good shout but it needs to go down parallel with the frame and then be turned so that it is under the frame so you can pull against the catch.
Avoid using BCIS if you can. I’ve seen silly low re-build values that bear no resemblance to real life.
I always go for unlimited or at least twice the market value of the house. Remember the re-build cost has to include for clearing the site and professional/local authority fee’s if you need a total rebuild.
Also if you are under-insured and the claim is substantial the Loss Adjuster will apply an average based on the amount your are under-insured by.
