Is there anyway to have multiple Xboxes in the same house using the same gamepass?

I’ve always been a PS person but both boys have Xboxes and I struggled to get them set up without lots of sweary words!

Scottish and English Building Control are worlds apart.

FWIW £1,000.00 sounds steep for a straight forward cut down with no structural works required.

Id suggest asking around for local Architectural Technicians, smaller the better, to quote.

If you decide to tackle the drawings yourself you’ll need sections through the slip step, jamb and possibly the lintel. Standard details were at one time available on the Scottish Building Standards website. Can’t remember if u-values will come in to it but you will need to detail external steps/plats and show how you’ll maintain subfloor ventilation if you obstruct any existing vents.
The good thing is that you’ll get a ‘faults’ letter detailing any lack of information in your drawings and it’ll reference the standard you need to satisfy. A bit of research will tell you how to meet the standard and it’s just a case of showing/detailing it on your drawing.

    best of luck!

Do these products have to be used on bare frames or are they suitable for Invisframe and the like?

Bought a Philips one with HEPA filter a fortnight ago after a couple of weeks disturbed sleep due to seasonal allergies.

Absolute game changer, slept like a baby every night since so they either work or the tree’s/plants/grasses/ have all stopped dumping their pollen in to the air!

Be upfront about your budget. You’ll soon find out if it’s realistic by the contractors reaction.

The amount of time I’ve wasted over the years pricing jobs only for the client to say “we can’t afford that, our Architect told us £X” is incredible.

Also if you get the right outfit and they are invested in your works they’ll work with you not against you.

Does make you wonder what would have happened had that bike been parked up in a crowded commuter train!

Will we get to a stage where e-bikes are banned from public transport or does that open to many questions regarding other batteries in the likes of phones and laptops?

If something happens to Williams during the race, say it needs a new PU or gearbox or something, who’s allocation does that come out of? Are they allocated per car or per driver?

they’ll swap Albons components on to Sergeants chassis  overnight.

Its not uncommon for drivers to use the same chassis at some point over a season.

Thanks for all the input, looks like a large will be the best bet as a lot of my riding is between the trees in the local woods and I have a habit of unweighting the front.

Now…time to go looking for the spare change down the back of the sofa!

Seriously considering one of the ‘cheap’ 5010 GX AXS but I’m right on the overlap size wise between L and XL.

Unfortunately I’ll struggle to find a shop where i can swing a leg over so looking for real world experience from owners if possible.

I’m 6″ or 183cm with a 32″ inside leg. Current bike is a 2017 Whyte T130 in L. Mainly a wheels on the ground type of rider that prefers stability over playfulness. This would lead me to an XL but the reach/stack/toptube sizes are all so far removed from the White that I’m worried i’d be left with a garden gate on wheels!

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    Thanks

Ordered a pair of Impact Pro in my usual 44, arrived two days later but the usual 44 is to tight. Not a problem according to the advice note, return code A is “exchange required – please confirm size”. Popped to the PO yesterday, paid £5 for signed for next day and was pleasantly surprised to receive an email confirming their arrival back at Evans today until I noticed the phrase “changed mind”. Contacted CS via Messenger and received the following exchange…

Thanks for your time- I hope you are well.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges and unfortunately returns are done on a refund only basis.

    Thanks, Emily

Not impressed and unfortunately a bit of digging around their website has confirmed that there are no exchanges given on online orders only refunds…and it cost me a fiver 🤣🤣🤣

Looking at the WCC table and seeing SAT nailed to the foot with 2 points, Alpha on 9, HASF1 and a resurgent Williams on 11 they really had to do something to try and turn their season around. Hopefully Ric is the answer and puts himself in the frame for a full RB seat next year!

Are you starting up in the same industry? Could it be that they are wanting to keep an eye on you and make sure you leave with nothing more than the knowledge in your head?

The FIA under Ben Suleyman do seem to need to have a word with themselves. I get wanting to put your own stamp on proceedings but there just seems to be to much time spent enforcing the ‘minor’ rules (Jewellery) while they miss the opportunity to enforce a pit stop infringement before the podium ceremony.

We’ve kind of lucked in to a reasonable deal with EDF.
Initially with Greenenergy paying £88/month for a 3 bed semi, they went down in early 2021 and we were moved on to EDF who honored the deal we had with Greenenergy.
Fast forward to October 21 when the initial deal ended and we moved on to SVR and a monthly payment of £247.00…ouch.
By the time I started looking for a new deal there was nothing going so we accepted that we were stuck on SVR and there was no point moving on from EDF.
Fast forward to Feb this year and we get offered a deal fixed until Fed 24.
    At the time this was:-
    Elect ~ standing charge 49.65 (SVR 49.65) Unit rate 31.12 (SVR 27.84)
    Gas ~ standing charge 27.22 (SVR 27.22) Unit rate 8.386 (SVR 7.336)
With the war in Ukraine kicking off and £100.00 exit fee on both we thankfully took the deal and from October we’ll be scoring big time on the unit rate…fingers crossed it’ll all calm down within the next 18 months or I dare say we’ll get an awfully big financial shock in Feb 2024!

If you are going to the hassle of putting in plumbing and electrics to the cupboard you might as well lift the floor, put some resilient strips on the joists and put down a new floor of two layers 18mm ply with resilient foam sandwiched between. That should dampen down the vibration.
At the end of the day there are plenty flats in the world with timber floors and washing machines!

I’ve used paste the wall exclusively in my house for the last 10/11 years and I’ve never pre-cut strips unless I’m going round a corner.
Simply past the wall, pop the roll of paper on the ground and pull it up to the ceiling keeping it off the wall until ready to start smoothing down from the top.

Edit: Use a decent premixed paste the wall paste such as Wallrock.

Remember you are entitled to appoint your own chartered surveyor to measure, tender and project manage your reinstatement works.
You are also entitled to use your own tradespeople as long as their quote for repair works is acceptable.
Finding your own surveyor and tradesmen will speed up your works as ‘network’ surveyors and contractors will be stowed out.

Nightmare, should have order last night when I first saw the PSA or this morning when I looked before getting out of bed. Instead I waited until after I’d had a coffee and by 9.55 it seems the price/offer has changed.
