that's what I couldn't understand from the review , odd. how stiff is the frame looking at the altitude 20 or Tue whyte 19 steel , needs to be able to tow a kiddy trailor too ?

frame weights are off on there website , cycle surgery weigh the bikes and the 905 is 26 pounds and the steel is 27 pounds

great story ! we had a lamb called larry he was going to be killed by a farmer but my dad stopped him and we raised him by hand, we had a free hold at the time so kept him there once he was to big for the garden , I'm affraid he was eaten after that !

fox forks, xtr mechanical , xt crank , mavic wheels , xt shifters, Hayes carbon discs , seems like good value to me. but I'm still swaying towards the whyte bikes. cheers flying fox but getting away at the moment with an 11 week old baby its near imposible at the mo I'm struggling to get enough time riding local trails as it is ! ha . hence a hardtail purchase is in order so I can ride to work and fit some trails in on the way home..:-)

im kinda glad someone else is feeling my pain… ;)where are you from mounty? i went into cycle surgery in brum they will let me take it out for 30 mins but there is no decent singletrack in birmingham so its no use to me really, both bikes feel really nice. looked at the p7 also but a bit to heavy duty for me i have an orange 5 for that kind of thing
