Used to run 25f/30r psi with tubes, any lower and I would be at serious risk of pinch flatting, now I’ve gone tubeless I run 25f/30r, any lower and I would be at serious risk of denting the rims

I struggle not to see the adadvantages, I used to find dozens of thorns when seasonally changing my tyres in lincs and now in the peaks I spend my time either getting bitten to death my midges in the summer or freezing my as off in the winter waiting around for people with punctures.

From my experiance in the last 5 years I have only had one puncture and that was when I was using a spare wheel with a tube in it.

+1 Montane thin thing or as I call it featherlite velo for 80% of the year and an active shell If it’s pissing down or brassic.
Going to try the vapour rise thing at some point this year though

Stupid question but on my blur I only ever (since I have had it) get grease coming out of one side of the linkage on both nipples, is this correct or should it come out of both sides

Not sure they do a tr one, I’ve got one on the rear works great, maybe a fault with the tyre?

First set I had from the same place creaked like crazy on the first ride.
After about a month they developed play and I got them to send a second replacement set out.
They were also very nosy first ride and also developed play very soon after.

Ripped them out and put in some from tf tuned being running well for quite some time now.

Getting involved in your bikes makes you appreciate them more. Its a more involved-hobby than drop off/pick up post-new bit fitted

Don’t towel rads usually have horizontal bars.

I can’t feel any air moving around it at all.

Where they kids or adults, I find it very hard to understand how anyone local and in possession of a couple of brain cells would not know that the area is a SSI.

Really mad that they could potencially damage not just the area but all the hard work done by rider groups to build really good relationships with SWT and eastern moors etc.

Juliens, yep UK only, it’s got to cost next to nothing other than sweat and tears.
Part of the highland trail looks exciting but as someone who gets golf ball size lumps from mozzi bites it scares the crap out of me.

I know I could get my RP23 push tuned or something but the CCDB won’t cost much more so what’s the point

Err, not so sure that’s true, a service is around £80 I’m sure j tech or loco wouldn’t charge you an extra £300 for tuning

Softshell something like a montane dyno or a Rab vapour rise light.
Or a softshell with No or minimum insulation, use a good wicking base layer (helly lifa) to get the sweat out.
Then pack a shell if needed.
Sorted for most of the winter

I’ve had the asda before, I quite liked it, it did have a slightly odd note but for £20 its still well worth it.

10 year talisker is a bit rough.

Never tried Pulteney may give it a go, what’s the cat urine smell about?

I tend to only drink peaty, rich and or sherry infused stuff though

Let’s at least dig out the drop offs, for the sake of those we know who paid good money in skills courses to be able to ride them like demons
