ye, not to good with the trails there but a mate did mention that. it was good after the pedal lol

as per round 1, we had a blast. we just did the 1 days again. we did stage 3 on the way back to the van after stage 7 and it had a massive pedal in it. so glad it got cancelled lol

I also had a crash on the very first corner of stage 7 so lucky the time got cancelled. the rest of stage 7 was sick, there was tonnes of people in the steep gully making loads of noise.

interesting don’t normally stop for lunch, just carry on and eat throughout the day. take it the stages won’t be closed for lunch

stayed here 3 times over the years but the last time was about 3 years ago.

they have timber camping pods in a number of different sizes. plus two bothy. bike wash, bike storage. and you can ride to dalbeattie in about 5 minutes

I had a good ride with no flats 🙂 but the rain was a tad grim. had planned on doing a loop and then some food and back out again but I just ended filling my pockets with food and doing as many runs as possible. 56th in masters which was okayish

I’m running a 34 up front on a 650b wheel.

I had one on the back and was really getting on with it until it ripped internally and ended up looking like it had a huge buckle in the wheel. Go a High roller 2 on now until I replace it and it doesn’t feel as good.

Not ridden there before but heard via friends of friends etc its good. If you could ping over the gpx route that would be great(I’ll you send an email). I did think I’d wait till the weather got a tab better. but I’m currently sat here at work looking over the OS maps at areas I need to visit for the first time or return trips lol. currently plotting a route around long mynd. 🙂

I have inline and I’m still on the base setting. everytime I change it the feel isn’t the same. suppose that’s the point of the base setting

that was it lady canning plantation. the loop we did was a figure of 8 also. there was a little bit of a tarmac lane to link one bit to other but it was worth it

MBR did a winter loop around Stanage Edge which I rode last winter and that was good. and I think there is a new bit of purpose built trail around that location. sorry cant remember the name of it. but I remember seeing steve peat open it

it was death I was cornered with. I know the frame will take it as it’s only 10mm up from where I’m at. I was more interested to find if people noticed a difference due to change in geometry

I’ve used stans for a while and as mentioned above i think the monsters have to do the tyre and how well its sealed to the. As had the same type of tyre on a different bike/rim and had monsters in 1 and not in the other. Same result happens with different tyres on the same rim.

But stans always works well and I the same liquid for 6 months
