    One in vintage sunburst

Black in the middle, one of my thinlines seems to have sneaked in as well.

And another pic of My Hamer standard just for good measure:)

I'm on there quite regularly for one reason or another and they're generally a lot better and funnier at dealing with trolls than the vast majority of folk on here.

    So there 🙂

    Was it during Ramadan?

How appaling of them to use a swimming pool in their own country, and obey their own dogma.

I'd have demanded a refund and that they convert to a proper religion so as not to inconvenience you 🙂

The Wellcome Collection just three minutes down the road from Euston is free and full of medical oddities amongst other things, which my three boys 11,7, and 3 love. It's not somewhere to spend whole a day, but if you're nearby, it's pretty good for whittling away a few hours and they have a Blackwells bookshop and a Peyton and Byrne cafe doing possibly the finest cupcakes in London.

Agree with Cfh, Chuck is really very good, worth watching for the titles and theme music alone 🙂

Depending on where you are, they can do next day delivery on most items, I bought a washer off them a few weeks back and they actually delivered it later the same day, which was pretty damned impresive.

    "you'd be surprised."

Nah, had more expensive bikes, enjoyed owning them more, but not riding them more:) I don't have to get stressed about scratches/dings leaving them chained up outside Morrson's/chip shop either.

The build I currently ride is pretty much as smooth and acceptable to ride as anything else I have ridden upto a grand or so, simply cos it's had the time spent to set everything up properly, rather just banging a pile of expensive componentry on and hoping for the best.

Spending two or three grand on a guitar however, now that's a different matter 🙂

"Hows about going into town or wherever and just getting a random snap of some lovely shop worker?"

    Because I'll get arrested again?

I don't see how it can be any worse than any other s**t that comes in a prewrap packet from a chain store. I can't really see the fuss, it's a sandwich from a supermarket.

My deore rear mech and alivio shifters are my blingest bits. My bike works fine,It's had the mechs set up properly, shifts perfectly, brakes more than adaquately etc. I ilke it. I get a lot of fun out of it.

It's probably cost me £300 if that. I could go out and spend a couple of grand and probably not enjoy riding anymore than I do now. I like to think of the extra weight as resistance training.

I used to be a warehouse manager for a national white goods company, if you can afford it buy a Miele. don't touch Indesh*t

If you don't want to spend that much, get a Beko,in three years I was there we never got any back faulty, and we had a warehouse full of dead Bosch, Hotpoint, indesit etc awaiting collection for repair or replacement from the mfctr.

I don't like green beans, I don't eat them. If I did eat them, I would only have myself to blame, and wouldn't bother to complain about it.

Can't stand football either, so I dont watch it, If I do watch it, then oh **** it I can't be bothered.

Apparently the BBC have recognised him from his a**e and his covered armpit.

"I use Vans and they grip fine. Look shite though – too big and bulky. "

The Elements I wear look like vans but are usually made of canvas or hemp, not as bulky and stickier than my vans and dry out in a few hours as well.

"Defenders are relatively expensive, not least because they are hand built by Brummies, however that works to their advantage in that there's little you can't replace on them with a socket set and a big hammer. They are not the most comfortable, quickest, quietest or most pretty but they do tend to get the job done. "

Many problems can be fixed by shouting at them and merely waving tools around the engine bay as well.Unless of course it's sucked a huge peice of polythene into the carb and you end up taking everything else in the fuel and ignition system apart first to figure out why it keeps cutting out, whoops.

"Now I'm no marksman, but I'm pretty sure I could shoot a gun out his hand from that range"

hmmm, pretty sure I could as well, but depending on what I'm armed with and what he's armed with, I'd want to be really really really sure at that range 🙂

This thread has made me think a bit actually, I have to work quite hard to justify spending more than £5/600 on a bike and will spend a couple of weeks convincing myself. If I see a guitar I like, I pretty much just buy it regardless of the price or how many I already have, which is probablywhy amongst other things I have two telecasters and two Gibson 335's (one of each cost me more than my car and bikes put together….) Hmmmm, might have to reign that in a little.

    Nah 🙂
