yeah stonking return to form after a slight dip last week, but this was the most consistently funny episode of the series. the second i saw Jeff tied up in Jez’s room i cracked up! fitting ending to a phenomenal show.

Far too early to think about January conditions. It could be much worse than now, it’ll probably be a lot better than now, but it certainly won’t bear any resemblance to now.

you available for bike guiding if it gets that bad stevo??

in the market for one of these too. i have zero interest in power meters or HRM’s and i wouldnt really use the navigation either. just want a small device to track my rides and display a few basic stats. bit worried about the 5hr battery life tho – i thought it was more like 8hrs??

looks like the northern alps, Austria esp are in for a large dump this week.

getting a bit bleak for the southern alps tho, some resorts postponing opening, feeling a bit worried for Sainte Foy early Jan…

im not taking my fat bike skiing, but the thought of it as an alternative would make me much more relaxed about snow conditions in the run up to my holiday!

Get a slow cooker recipe book and a basket full of some of her favourite ingredients too – it shows you actually thought a bit more about it (well, I did for you ).

    like it!

im hoping they’ll last till 7 or 8. if they still believe when they’re any older than that id start to worry they’re a bit simple.

oooh you have the orange one like mine, id assumed you’d got the 2016. id defo recommend ditching the vee tyres. i remember when i first got mine and i took it out in the snow, was wheel spinning all over the place, thought to myself this isnt supposed to happen on these bikes, kinda defeating the object – stuck some floaters on and was away!

8-10 psi here i think, just go on feel really. i quite often bang more air in for tag-along duties and let it out again for normal rides so cba keep checking the psi…

I only ever listened when in someone else’s car / van and it used to make my ears vomit!! Wasn’t so much Moyles’ bullshit, more the incredibly irritating sycophantic entourage chuckling along to all his bullshit! wtf was ‘comedy’ Dave all about. Made me wanna chew glass.

I have one too. bought for very similar reasons to cakeface. it will never replace my proper full suss for general riding but its a lovely looking bike in Orange and i really like the detail. likewise I swapped out the sweep back bars for some Atlas’ i had knocking about, hope stem, replaced the brakes with shimano zee’s and got rid of the vee tyres in favour of some floaters. also got a x-fusion dropper on there too.

its use it mainly in local woods walking the dog, can really veer off track and plough through the undergrow! but i do take it to my inlaws in North Wales and ride it about on the beaches and dunes. its also perfect for tag-along school run duties. my little girl absolutely loves pitching up at school on it!

plus its always ready for when the snow comes!!

i mentioned in another thread that im thinking about uograding the wheels now, couldnt get these to go up tubeless at all, i also wouldnt mind a few ‘accessories’ to make use of all the bosses it has!.

cheers johnny. having done a bit of reading up the consensus is the tundras are not so great for converting to tubeless?

Had my Caribou 12months now. I only really use it for dog walking and tag-alonging but it’ll be ready for duty when the snows come. I had a go at ghetto tubelessing when I first got it but the Weinmann HL80’s were not having it. Anyway was out today and got my first puncture so got to thinking it might be time to upgrade the rims and get something a bit better and tubeless friendly.

My limited fatbike knowledge naturally pointed me towards the on-one v2 wheelset which seems reasonable at £300. (Wouldn’t wanna spend more than that tbh) anyone recommend these or have any better ideas? Ta

I don’t care enough to find it abhorrent, I just refused to acknowledge it…

However, I’m off today and the Mrs has gone out so took the opportunity to do my Xmas shopping ( I only buy for her) and must admit I’ve been delighted with the savings I’ve made so far!! I’m happy with the free delivery more than anything!

I have both. Prefer to run my vigilante in the warmer dryer months with a trailboss (I’m a bit anal about both tyres being the same brand) the Shorty has recently gone back on for the winter with a minion at the back. I really like both of them but the Shorty is definitely more accomplished in the slop.
