I cba sending it back, plus there are no more TransAM’s to replace it with and i really love the bike.

the picture is not an illusion :D

the components are most definitely not new however, the wheel has had extensive hammer, although the rotor came off another bike after only 3 or 4 rides. dont think the axle is broken, there is no play in the wheel, but i have no idea what hub spacers are in there…

all good ideas to investigate tho thanks.

where did you end up going?

Interstellar is only any fun with speed, otherwise its just a plod through a field. in those conditions id rather ride past it to the trig then descend off the front of harcles and pick up the footpath into the quarry – good run that actually, dont do it enough!

used to get stupid drunk in my early 20’s. went out once, mustve lost or ran out money and paid a taxi driver with my shoes (i only found this out later when had same driver again) when i got home i had no key and nobody was in so i curled up in the porch under a few coats, spewed up and went to sleep.
woke up next day to some angry fella prodding me with a broom handle. wanst my house! wasnt even the right street!

it does feel a litle bit small compared to my large kona process but not in a bad way, i wanted that contrast tbh. the reach is perfect tho.

i thought it dragged on a bit, but i do remember being very tired when we saw it so i was already a nodding dog.. need to give it a second chance.

Pulp Fiction and Dogs are my favourites for sentimental reasons but id say Jackie Brown is his best, with Basterds close… i know it gets a lot of hate but i really liked Deathproof too! which has another legendary OST, and also my biggest ever film crush for Mary Elizabeth Winstead in that Cheerleader outfit!!

this as happened to me a couple of times, i just said tha the agencies were always on at me to have an up to date cv on file… which is quite often true.

do these agents get a crumb of commission if they get someone sat down for an interview?

struggling to find the optimum mount position for mine, stem top cap is vulnerable when i crash, ive snapped of two now! i moved it to the top tube using the provided rubber band mount but i keep knocking the buttons with my knees, bastard reset it itself 15 miles into a ride the other the week!

i could mount it under my saddle, on the seat tube maybe but obviously i wouldnt be able to read it! might as well keep it in my pocket, but then it will definitely end up going through the washing machine… :?

Still cant see any glimmer of what turns Jimmy into Saul.

hes just been recorded admitting a felony. id imagine he’ll do time for or at least be discredited enough to change his name and rely on crooks with no better alternative to keep him busy…?

i echo stevede. had it since christmas but lost in in a crash on Seldom Seen the other week, was also using the k-edge top cap mount but it snapped the plastic insert. didnt realise until back at the van. just replaced it with one from aldi but not sure ill crack on with the top cap mount, seems pretty vulnerable up there…

id go along to a few demo days and try out all the different shapes and sizes to decide which sort you like the best. you could get some amazing bikes 2nd hand for that sort of budget..

i got 5 velcro straps off ebay for a quid delivered.

easily holds a tube to my saddle rails, also used them to stash other bits and bobs to my frame too.

ive only been the two times, both boozy weeks of debauchery with the lads. had an absolute ball both times. one was a stag do, we had booked all kinds of fun activities and managed to turn up for zero!! good tip about being plummy tho, went VIP in Ghost bar on the roof of the Palms one night when this rich Texan cottoned onto us coz he thought it was hilarious we didnt sound like Jeeves… great times….

one tip tho that many brits dont embrace is craps, play craps! stick or twist / red or black – boring! look around the casino and the people having most fun are round the craps table. just shadow someone who looks like they know what theyre doing, copy their bets, you’ll soon get the hang of it, and youll be hollaring, high fiving and asking demi moore to kiss your dice in no time!!

took my kid brother to Stiniog yesterday, he had a bmx as kid but is total novice on a MTB. he was flying down the Jympar run absolutely loving it. (apart from the time he followed me off Jympar onto Drafft where it goes straight into that quite fearsome rock garden and he had a pretty nasty OTB) he was hitting them doubles after the drop at the bottom by the end of the day tho and cant wait to go back!!

My dad got one for when he had a midlife crisis Porsche. Didn’t last longhand now I’ve got the seasucker. He used it for his feather weight plastic road bike, I only have chunky mtb’s. Tbh I’ve not dared use it on any proper road trips, but I have slung it on to nip down to the bike shop or to a local ride meet. I have no qualms about the strength of the suckers, they Don’t budge – but any bumps or bends it just feels like the whole roofs gonna rip off!

Fella walks into a posh bakery…
”I’ll have that Black Forest Gattox in the window please”
‘”Actually, sir, it’s pronounced ‘Gateaux’ and its £11.99”
    ‘”11.99!!? Well Bolleaux to that!!”
