Well, I’ve been reading a review of the bike and the guy mentioned about how bad the wheels were but I don’t get the bike until next weekend to see how they compare to my whyte Suffolk I’ve just sold. (Wheels way a ton but solid)

Selling whyte because it is slightly on the small side at 58cm and I’m 6ft 3+. It felt ok at the time and 58 is the biggest they manufacture. God knows why I think it’s ridiculous. Also I’ve done 4000 miles in 8 months and it could do with a service and maybe new chain & cassette. Someone else can have the bother of doing it.

    Andy8442,

Brill, any chance you can send us some info sooner please? How tall you are? What size have you had? How heavy is the bike?
And are the wheels up too much?

    Cheers

Jam bo, too many near misses and at 05:15 one Saturday morning going to work for a bit of overtime, a car with 2 youngish guys came along side me and they thought it would be funny to grab my arm. They had turned there lights off but I managed to get only part of there number plate. I was that angry if Ide of had a gun strapped to the bike I would of probably used it. So if Ide of had a camera on my helmet those 2 guys would of had a visit from the police. Ide like to think so anyway.

I still can’t find the perfect commuting camera!!
They are either poor in battery life or low light performance is rubbish.

    He is the GOAT!!!
Followed him for the last 10 years now and there is no one who can entertain on track like he does. Doesn’t matter where he starts from he always saves it for Sunday. The cameras follow him no matter where he is and you slowly watch him make his way through the field. awesome, incredible to watch and the sport will miss him when he retires.

I’ve tried the grasshopper kiwi in the past. I’m 6ft 4 and need a 34 inch leg. Kiwi ride too high for me and are not long enough.

Riding solo but in a sportive. what problem would it cause?

    jacob46

Been to try and find out tonight at my local specialized retailer. DI2 is awesome. Love the way the front mech adjust itself as you drop down the gears at the rear so there is no chance of chain rub. Clever!
It Will also wirelessly connect to my Garmin 1000. You can do your own maintenance by using the software and plugging it into a pc and changing the way it changes gear and it went over my head!!! But I’m ordering it on Friday!! £899.99 over 2 years = £37 a month.

Can’t wait. Thanks for your help.

All joggers wear them! you can Cleary see there iPhone strapped to there arm with wire going to ear.
so if headphones are not for cyclists why would road.cc review a pair??

Not sure if spokes need tightening but I have a buzzing noise when I’m out the saddle and put the power down. I’ve never messed with a wheel before.

If you want to pass me on a sportive by all means pass me. But please don’t shout out out that “man down or man passing” crap. So sad! just overtake no need to let the world know. I will wear earphones and listen to my music and I won’t bother a soul. Just pass me if you want and leave me be.
