How much of your post is sticking out for large?

Ribble only go up to 58cm!
Just phoned them and they recon 58cm cwaters for people up to 6ft 4inches as long as you don’t mind having 12 inches of seat post sticking out the frame.

They wonder why UK people buy USA designed bikes.

    I’m 6ft 4 by the way.

    Cheers anyway

    That looks fantastic mate,
ive got a specialized HT that i would love to change the paint work. i recently changed it to a 1×10 and im left with a horrible not lacquered area where the front mech use to be. fed up of the colour anyway.
i was in contact with a company called Argos but they are asking for over £200 including carriage. they charge an extra £10 for some extra tough paint. 200 quid gets your frame shot blasted back to bare aluminium, priming and clear lacquered.

very interested in where you got yours done! is the finish easily chipped? or does it seem tough?

Is this your first road bike? If so spending over 2k may not be the best idea.
Got something cheaper and find out a) if you enjoy it b) what sort of road rider you are (bimbler, tourer, sportive type or racer).
As for that bike – looks OK, but not very exciting.

What you mean it’s not exciting? Tell me which ones are ?

Commuting on carve pro HT 8.5mile each way. Think I could cut 5 mins off the journey time. The thing is thou I love the riding style of my hardtail.

Molgrips get a life and take the missus out clubbing. They cope for all ages now! Music makes you happy and some of us don’t have the privilege of listening to anything at work apart from **** machines. And as for radio 4 well, can I just say that in the next election you won’t win this time.

    There’s some pricks on here.

Can be a bit quiet at 5 am in the morning so I would like to listen to the radio or some music.

Take it some on here dont commute. Seen an old guy who passed me the other day with a radio playing which gave me the idea. So less of negative comments and I ain’t a chav.

    My crack is alwalys clean.
No I don’t wear underwear with shorts, just endura padded under shorts and endura single track mtb shorts.
Going to try my pair of funkier tomorrow. Had to give the scranus a rest today.

My shorts are no way 2 small. Just right. I think it’s them singletrack endura shorts I wear over the top of the under shorts. Can’t see it being the saddle. Specialized stuff seems good to me. Mite try sliding it back a bit next time.

More like chaffing, really soar in shower. Think its where the materials are joined and stitched.

I’ve got some funkier lycra ones as well mite try them tonight going to work my scranus has carmed down.

I am going to try others

If your trying to use 2 sets of wheels then it’s not going to work long term as you will have to do it each time you swap wheels, hope specify you align the caliper by the centre line not by the squeeze and tighten method, not sure on avids ideas.

It’s better than changing tyres 3 times a week!

I was told by leisure lakes last night on phone if I use another washer to bring the caliper another 1/16th away from rotor it should solve the problem.
