Go for it! You’ll get your money back On eBay if you get fed up of it.
Just been looking at this but reading comments of how the sl4 has improved I think I’ll leave it alone.

Get rid of it mate. Just sold my lads hotrock from hhaving an accident 2 weeks ago. We both came down a trail hill and he couldn’t stop and to lay the bike down before hitting a tree. Luckily he is JUST big enough for the hotrock 20 so I went last week to my local leisure lakes store and got him one. Total different bike, the brakes are fantastic. I looked at getting a new wheel for the hotrock 16 but it’s vertually impossible. Luckily I took his old bike into the shop with me and a guy who was looking for a bike for his son offered me £60 for it and I snapped his arm off.
I don’t know why specialized choose to use a fix wheel on a bike that’s for such a young age is beyond me. Bad if you ask me.

Defy more relaxed. I’m interested because of life time warrenty on frame and there customer services is brill.

Did consider canyon because of what you get for your money but if things ever went wrong what do you do? Send it back for inspection in a big cardboard box.

The man from canyon London tonight said no way do I need a 62cm bike. I told him I will order a 60 and if I think it’s too small you can collect it Simples!! 😆

I am 6’2″ and would go for a 60cm, can’t remember what size they recommended for me, might have even been 56cm, but I went on a day trip to their showroom and tried a few out and 60 is definitely the size for me, but I do like to be a little stretched out on a bike.

Now I am confused! You reckon on a roadlite Al 62 will be to big?

Riding a 62cm Canyon Ultimate CF with the 12cm stem as supplied and it’s just about the perfect size. Had to switch out the seatpost for one with zero layback but that’s possibly more to do with my 40 year old dodgy back than anything else.!!
6’4″ tall here too, Inside leg is 90cm, torso is 74cm

Thanks that is a massive help. They told me yesterday that I would need a 60 but I wasn’t sure. 62cm it is. Cheers

What size would you choose if your inside leg is 92cm ? (6ft 4inches)

    Thanks routier.
The trouble is I typed in my measurements on canyons fit guide and it recommend me 60cm Xl. If I went to specialized I would be a 61cm XXl ??

Think a giant or specialized seem to cater for 6ft 3+ better than anyone else. Pitty I already have a specialized and wanted a different make.

Think I’ll be trying Giant next! I’m 34 inch leg with long arms. Phoned ribble today and they don’t seem to cater for above 6ft 4. Madness!
