Certainly not, drive past it most weeks on my commute home and avoid.

Not bad once a year i guess.

    Stokyo based also.

We’re still dealing with warranties at the moment, we also have a range of spares still available along with Stif.

    Cheers.

I must say I feel fairly guilty after reading some of these, I’m pretty bad but that might be with being 20.

Most weekends I get bladdered both days n normally to the point of forgetting most shit.

Before I left my old job, peak was getting in at 6 am regularly in the week and going straight to work. I even walked 8 miles home one morning…

Every so often I have a few weeks off if thats any conciliation.

Also rarely suffer from hangovers, If I do get one however, its generally off 3-4 pints rather that a proper session of 15.

    Cheers

Just summerbridge which from stoke on trent is around 2 hours. I’m thinking of living in me van in the week to be honest to keep costs down.

Doesn’t have to be harrogate at all!

    Cheers for the help boys

Could be a possible, It’d be good to strike up a long term agreement with someone on there.

They only work for 4-5 rides before they need tweaking. Lack of raw power.

Master cylinder as per. New brakes always for free in a week. No complaints and plenty of power even in the very bottom end brake.

The spot was made official a few years back and the council granted £10000 for the trails.

Nothing has changed as far as I’m aware, people just stopped using the older features and they got taken down due to lack of use around 3 years ago. I started up here around 2 years back and its all been good until now even with last years jump line and lots of big stuff.

Clearly some people with high self opinions on here already.

    Jekkyl- correcto.
    Dezb- Indeed.

Its really infuriating, so many hours poured into it. Helping locals lads stay away from ‘spray painting or smashing windows’ The location is a well know spot for antisocial behaviour from chavs, doggers and all sorts. They could have done something about that first, but nope. Just pick on the bikers as per. You regularly see MX bikes about and they never do anything about that.

Steve, I’ll bare that in mind. New places are always good! Too add to your point, guess people are jelly because they couldn’t ride them perhaps?

    Ta.

Well, for starter It appears that you don’t know how to ride around a corner without locking the rear brake

Didn’t notice myself doing that in all but 1 corner?

It’s made the bike much more surefooted and I’ve not lost anything I’d say.

My DPS broke and I always had to run it at near max pressure so it didn’t wallow.

Transat all good for me too, good with bikes.

I too would call it a downgrade.

Still think my hopes are toss after a multitude of pads and bleeds.

    XT will be installed shortly.

Like I said on insta bro,

It’ll never feel the same through big compressions and heavy hits.

I think the 5010 is a wonderful bike and I love mine to bits but it wasn’t a huge difference up hill with how I had both mine built.

As suggested above, the main difference was not uphill, but on flat. So much less energy sapping than my nomad ever was.

Whatever you do, I’m sure you’ll be stoked Dave. You’re not doing uplifts and stuff so I’d try a 5010.

Now, I’m not scared of digging at all. I dig a fair bit of the stuff around my area and enjoy it however Gisburn really needs some drainage work. I’ve only been 3 times (twice to race) and its always been horrific for surface water.

Being 2 hours + away I don’t particularly fancy the drive over to rectify it mind.

Mines been perfect. Far better than my 11 previous reverbs already.

Loads on time on XTR lever
broke 4 in total, inconsistent feel as with new xt.
    Carbon lever blades are weak
The lever internals don’t stay internal for much time at all with heavy use.

    E4

Had a set when I was a squid and felt they lacked power and performance in wet.
Had a set on the new bike as we get a good deal with hope through the team and also felt similar.
They feel amazing but rather drastically stop working when it gets wet and muddy. Loads of me mates (Fast n Slow alike) have found very similar.

Hob Nob has pretty much hit the nail on the head.

My experiences are exactly the same.

Great in good berms, jumps n hardpack but put them into choppy stuff or off camber and they suffer.

On hope enduros now which are rather flexible compared but better all round for sure
