    Deal in Kent is pretty rad.
    Crantock near Newquay is an awesome place to camp – great walks along the coast and lovely huge beach.

    Given how stupid the internet is most of the time, this thread is a great example of it being great. Cheers guys :)

    Saying hello to the other riders I see in the morning always makes for a good start – fez wearing e-bike guy and the gentleman with the flat cap in particular. That and feeling the sun on my lycra clad body at the end of the day, aww yes baby.

    Is it worth mentioning that these;

    Go for very cheap on ebay?

    I had about half a dozen incidents last winter that made me want that. Funny ol thing, it hasn’t happened in any of the 3 summers I’ve been riding to work.

    the actual areas used by ballistic missile submarines (SSBN) are in reality limited, and overlap (alleged to often be between Malin Head and Rockall Bank).

    wikipedia and the telegraph don’t make you knowledgeable about anti submarine warfare. That happened because it’s a good place to hide, so lots of subs use the area, and because when a sub is being quiet the chances are you wouldn’t ever know it’s there.

    given that the ruskies probably have a good idea where our subs are at all times then yes,

    that’s just not even remotely close to being true. Submarine hunting is very hard indeed, even if you have an acoustic signature.

    you can’t go wrong following one of Thomasina Miers recipes[/url]. That said, she often calls for rare ingredients and crazy amounts of prep. There’s a ‘simple, quick’ chili recipe in Mexican Food Made Simple that’s awesome.

    Now this is a subject I have researched extensively, but I’ll restrict my answer to regular supermarket stuff. I’d say yorkshire gold is pretty excellent but clipper organic is better. If you want a bit more punch clipper breakfast (the one in the yellow box) is yummy too.

    pretty much this exact thing happened to my dad’s old company. the boss ended up **** the business, making about 200 people redundant, took their pension contributions, investigated for fraud and went missing.
    nice.

    Consider Phlebas by Iain Banks is a good one to start with (obviously).

    The Forever War by Joe Haldeman is also very good.

    good user name/post combo

    I’d say Player of Games is better to start with in Iain M Banks
