comes over as a queen of the broadcast media in comparison to Katie Pucrick

I thought she was great today.

Gotta say it blows my mind that everyone doesn’t agree with my exceptionally fine taste in all things

If UK were to join EU fully does that mean Scotland will have an easy ride to independence?

it wouldn’t really be independence anyway, just swapping one big group for another.
Personally, I care about the UK staying together because it’s a big old bunch of people doing something together, and something we’ve been doing for a lot of time. To me the next logical step is the EU where nationalism would mean even less and more people would come together. Roll on world government.

Well, I wouldn’t go there but Erbil is one of the safer places. Depending on how your mode of transport, it might be a little sketchy getting out there but it should be better than it was.

This is a pretty informative map[/url]

what barkm said – if you can’t get an easy move within the company then move out – my wife went through pretty much the same thing and now she’s super happy :) Her problem was a bullying and extremely unprofessional boss and unsupportive management above that. Funny old thing, exactly the same thing happened to two of my wife’s replacements (we still have some contacts there), and we later learnt that her predecessor left under similar circumstances.

To criticise a sci-fi film for its plot holes is kind of missing the point and suggests you just don’t like the film, which says more about your taste in films than it does about the quality of the film itself.

It’s certainly a lot better than the three star wars prequels, which isn’t saying a lot, but still….

I totally agree! This is a terrible film and I only like good movies; comparing it to the star wars prequels doesn’t really help your argument.

The very concept of the film is dumb as hell but what really ruined it for me was the ass backwards actions of the crew in every important scene. Someone should introduce the writers to the concept of verisimilitude.

My gin is in 3 measures mixed with 1 of vodka and 1/2 of lillet, shaken with a thin slice of lemon… given the exit poll… not strong enough.

mine’s 50/50 gin/lemonade, no mucking about. It’s pretty good gin tho

I’ve read that it’s essential to cool the beer before serving from a Cornie otherwise the pressure will cause a lot of foaming – is that true? In which case I guess you’re looking at a fridge to keep the kegs in or a relatively expensive flash chiller just before the serving tap? One of those articles linked above covers cooling methods but doesn’t mention what happens if you omit it!

The brewing guys I met in Arizona used those cooling sleeves you mentioned, but I wouldn’t say the beer was overly cold, just a lot cooler than the ambient temp. There wasn’t any foaming problems as far as I remember and they were serving up a good variety of beers.
