I think chainsuck occurs on an upshift. Not sure what could be causing your prob as a downshift should just be dropping it onto the smaller ring. Have a good look at all your teeth on the big ring. Check all the links on the chain are moving ok.

Have you got a pc back home in the UK ? Either set that up to use as a proxy or remote onto it. Although it might be a bit late for that.

I’ve swapped out headsets on both my bikes for hope.versions. Excellent, no maintenance problems so far. Headset was getting gritty on my hard tail after only 3 months, hope has now had over 3 years on the bike and still smooth as day 1.

Used it on my nokia xpress music, does what DB says if mobile view is turned off. Otherwise looks a bit basic. Definitely better than the default browser on the phone.

Yes, you can get Iplayer 4OD etc, although they dont put everything up, you only get access for a week, they are sometimes inconsistent and miss episodes.

Snow tyres are probably worth it. I dont drive off the trunk roads enough to warrant it any more but my folks used to rely on them over the winter, they made a serious difference (they never used chains though). They would buy a set and swap them in/out in the autumn/spring.
