i had a pair of 2.4 foldables. They lived up to their name, front tyre folded while cornering. Trip to a&e to get chin super glued, and tryres given away free.

Utterly useless if the trail ixnt bone dry. Never run at less the 80psi.

How old are the shifters? They aren’t in the indicator housing but stuck to the back plate that you unscrew from the shifter modules (just in case you’d missed them)

Apart from the head angle there was I think the swing arm and downtube were tweaked between 07 and 0. Forks changed half way through 2008 from standard QR to QR 15’s on the pro/se, so something to check when you’re buying second hand.

I looked at the website and mailed the organiser. IMO it didn’t look like they had a comprehensive list of stake holders attending. All the major governments bodies, but few NGO’s and nothing specific from the grass roots

Where does the money go that people spend on buying cannabis? Only a small amount goes to the part time dealer, the vast majority will go to serious and organised crime. For example in Northern Ireland the illegal drug trade is run almost exclusively by the paramilitary organisations.

When the NTS is short on funds and wants to save money on footpath repairs it wouldn’t surprise me if they restrict access to MTBs citing the fact that They deliberately disregard the access code.
This would be unfortunate for the vast majority of bikers who use these footpaths responsibly.

Loads of places online. You’ld be surprised how little they go for nowadays. Once you’ve swapped your old plates back might not be worth it.

1. I accept I cause erosion
2. When I am riding i try to minimise this.
3. If there is a path built there to reduce erosion I use it.
4. If I cant ride it, or the ground is soft, I carry.

I see nothing hypocritical in that, and I don’t think anything I have said goes against this.
This isn’t really about me its about the video clip at the top of the thread, where the rider clearly does not use a path put in place to help reduce erosion. So a fail in points 2,3 and 4 above.
