Depends how much sushi and cheese you eat 🙂

As I said buy to suit your needs, but don’t blow all your budget on two knives and think they will do everything.

As someone’s said – it’s better to get just one or two knives and keep them sharp and use them for everything.

I disagree, best to buy the right knife for the job. You cant fillet a fish with a boning knife and can’t bone a leg of lamb with a pearing knife. Buy what you can afford and build up a set to suit your needs and budget.

Yep – and a shovel, bucket load of grit and a flask of soup.

I woudln’t try it, unless you want to risk a night in the car or on a Perth community hall floor. Plenty more snow in Perthshire overnight tonight, very cold and powdery so the slightest wind and it’lll start to drift.

I got a couple of zwilling & henckels knives and they are great.

But to be honest most of my knives come from TKMax, they often have really good stuff on cheap.

Fair point, can people title the feedback thread in a standard way, so it’s nice and easy to search for and you don’t need to trawl through all their posts.

Uplink – as Suggested in an earlier thread.

Stick your feedback on th original FS or WTD thread then add a tag to the thread in the format:

    FEEDBACK username

It would then be easy to pull all threads back that contained feedback for an individual user via the tag function.

You wouldn’t have to do that with the tags. Obviously both ideas are opento abuse.
But it would be better than what we’ve got.

This would be a good use of tags.

Once you’ve added feedback to a FS or WTD post add a tag on the thread in the format

    FEEDBACK SELLER username
    FEEDBACK BUYER username

Then you could view all feedback left for a seller/buyer

This thread could become rather long and difficult to search. Why not just leave feedback on the original FS thread. Would it not be easier to find feedback by viewing the seller’s forum history?

Edit: tarde typing from me again.

Is it for fixing into the aero bars, or the long threaded ones?

Cameron Brig is the only one I’ve tried. It was a long time ago and wasn’t marketed as a specialist whisky. No age on the bottle. Not recommended, very light and in no way smooth.

I’ve no doubt it’s now had a makeover.

There are lots of different provider, products and options. Speak to the insurer or the IFA that sold you the policy.

Sorry Oxford dictionary uses both snowplow and snowplough. No distinction between British and North American. If you’re going to be pedantic please be correct.

It does differentiate between plough and plow.

I was thinking of putting in a Tesco’s online delivery. Do they have to deliver it free if they don’t make it in their allocated time slot?

Yes its a delight ! Temperatures rose to just above freezing for about an hour or so before plunging to minus 5 overnight. A perfect freeze thaw to bed everything down for today’s snow! I’m not going anywhere.

However the gritter did go past the house at about 8 o’clock last night with the added bonus of the blade facing away from us. So my drive is pretty clear while the nieghbour’s have an extra 3-4ft to dig out.

Well said. Here’s a thanks to all the lorry drivers that keep our shops stocked with cheese, beer and essential pork products despite these adverse weather conditions.

Where have the plows been? Both the M90 and A9 are closed south of Perth. Glad I’m not in work tomorrow, I predict carnage.

Is architecture not a 6 year full time sandwich course ? How old will you be when you finish that part time?
Don’t think the architects are having a particularly good time of it in the current financial climate.
