Ha. As with all small and highly used areas I shan’t tell where they are exactly but it’s not like they are hidden from view.

I wouldn’t rely on the lower oil getting to the foam washers, especially if you have the modern two part seal at the top.
Keep the foam topped up with oil. A bit of silicon spray every couple of rides helps kepp things buttery smooth.

I Ordered a pair. Hope the 2 step function is sorted for 2011.
I hope they are 1 & 1/8th steerer or they will be getting returned or an excuse for a new frame. 😐
everything looking normal so far will (automated) confirmation email through already.

    Got two myself this year.
I always thought the glencairn glass was more of a tasting glass. Shaped to enhance the aroma of a small amount of liquid. Really it’s whatever works for you. I prefer drinking whisky from a small wine glass recently, similar to a glencairn but not as pronounced.

Try arm warmers. You start losing heat as soon as blood starts traveling down your arm. I think that wind proofness is the key keeping the whole length of your arm warm will help your hands.

Not tried Bspoke Gloves but they are cheap atm.

I love my standard Leather gloves. They won’t deal with lots of sweat but breath okay and are wind & shower proof.

I suppose this version really will have computer animation in it (unlike the original one).

Eh? Tron had loads of CGI in it. Its ground breaking advances in film technology were snubbed by the academy as using computer was ‘cheating’

I believe that air and coil legs are different but are the damper legs different? For example could I replace turn key or MoCo damper for a black box MoCo damper to give a superior damped 150mm coil fork?

Yep. BBC 0100 hours take off and 0200 hours landing. Its being covered by BBC news 24. It will no doubt also be on the standard news around those times.

Nither of us would get home at lunch time, at least not long term. possible while its settling in.
I don’t think long stints indoors is an ideal life at all for a dog. However I want(ed) to know what the thinking was about providing this lifestyle for a rescue dog. I am fully aware the dog would need a lot of contact time before being felt for a full day. I would never introduce a new born to this life.
If the rescue home are against it then maybe it’s a none starter for now.

Bit of a hijack. sorry but…
Me and my girlfriend would love a dog but we both work full time and can’t really take a dog with us. She grew up with a dog or two but I’ve never had one. GF doesn’t think it’s a good idea as she doesn’t want to leave a dog at home but I’m sure many people must. She works most weekends and I’m off at weekends so the dog would be home alone 4 days at most. Possibly could take it to work some days.
I’m very open to the idea of a rescue and surely a rescue at home during the day is better than one in the pound.

So what is the general consensus? Better to rescue and leave at home a couple of days or am I/we being selfish?

💡 The councils should hand out snow plows to the HGV drivers* to fit to their cabs, hand them in on your way home, job done. 😉

    * I have no idea if it’s a good idea and I know that the cabs don’t have the fittings.

My xc race type shoes barely touch the cage of my DX spd pedals I would think these are next to pointless. 540’s FTW.

What part of the bike spectrum is the shop aimed at? I Can’t find a website so just interested if it’ll offer anything different form the norm.
Might take a ride past on my way home but that’ll be before the party.
    Any facebook page?

I can’t believe that a motor bike can’t beat a bike down the course. The motorway would have had Gee reeled in. As one of the comments say I reckon Knight would have been much faster if he knew the coarse even half as much as Gee.

Still….very cool seeing an enduro bike going down the trail. It looked really chunky. Wound an MX bike be even faster? Get Pastrana on it.

What a big ponce he sounded. Winging little gimp. Its a 70’s record cover FFS. Get over it. I wonder how he would feel if he didn’t know it was himself.
Maybe the car paint “warped his fragile little mind”. Or maybe is parents drug taking. 😯

I thoroughly enjoyed the music. 😀

I’ve been using Duracel 2300 for two years now. Always charged them on a slow trickle charger (takes 16 hours apparently) and they still go for nearly 2 hours on turbo. I have noticed decreased run time in very low temps.
I believe that lower capacities are better for holding charge when stored.

All this just to have a cheap light eh ?

WHAT a bargain. £50 for a light, then its Russian roulette as to whether your house burns down with you and your family inside.

I seem to remember Iphones and Ipods had a similar problem with charging and a couple of units burning/flaming.
Be sensible and follow the common advice on chrging batteries and all will be fine. If the battery burns then a new one is cheap enough. it’ll be a lot of batteries before its the price of mainstream bike lights.

AFAIK All the safety risks relate to the old battery. The new battery is a lot safer, so far. 😯

Are you allowed alcohol free alternatives? The best beer I’ve found is Bavaria sold at most super markets.
Seems that most of the good foreign brewers do an alcohol free alternative. Erdinger, Sagres, fustenberg, Pauliner. All seems expensive for what is effectively a soft drink.

I’m about the same size, slightly bigger chest. Bought a medium and it was casual fitting before washing. After washing it is now very fitted, a-la tight road fit. This was planned as I knew it would shrink but it shrunk a bit more than expected. Its a great value jersey but beware the shrinkage.

Not sure about converted. There are no Coil revelations.
AFAIK The Secktor is the same chassis as the Revelation and had Coil options, however the secktor does not have the blackbox damper option which is supposed to be a big advantage. Major oversite IMHO.

I partly agree. For those that have kept there jobs it does still seem to bit of a boom time. House prices are low as are interest rates. Is food not quite well priced at the moment as well? Electronic goods are cheap!?! So to live a basic lifestyle is quite reasonable and everything else is luxury.
I’m facing my second redundancy in 18 months so I’m not ignorant to the unfortunate souls who are unemployed.
IMHO a lot of the recession is very media driven and is scaring people ito not spending like they have for the last decade. That (over)spending culture had to end sometime and now it has, albeit rather suddenly and the shockwaves are being felt by some people. Hopefully it will all even out and things will get better/more balanced.

Do you think they shelled out for triple glazing to retain the heat or just standard double?

3 and 3 in a P reg POLO. Beat that!

Friends and I have achieved 3 and 3 with ease in a mondeo hatch so an estate should be fairly straight forward.
I’m thinking: both wheels off and bikes stood upside down bars straight but frames alternating direction. Rear wheels in between frames, fronts should find a place easy enough at the end. last bike might need bars turned.

I fitted a deore middle ring to a truvative. The bolt tabs of the deore had a slightly different shape to the spider of the crank. The bolts fit fine but I had to file the tabs away to fit.

You can log in to your spotify account at any time any where. With a premier account you can be logged in at several locations simultaneously however only one location will play music at one time. ie. playing music at one location will stop the play back at other locations.

The next video in the sequence – the slabs route – looks much more interesting.
I really must get up there for some riding next year.
