Riding should be fine. What’s the spoke count. If you have rim brakes then the buckle may be a problem.
Coincidently I also broke a spoke on my R550. Straight pull 24 spoke. was buckled like a bu99er due to low spoke count. 4 miles of brake on/brake off with every wheel turn.

Do you mean is it VOIP: as in, you can use it to make calls through the internet. No!
THe nokia has wifi so that you can surf the net but it is still a mobile phone using the mobile network.

Trek Remedy? I’ve seen one raced at Inners and they are about the 30lb mark so nice weight for all day riding.

LG renior (GF has it) and Nokia 5800 do everything that the ipod does and then some but the Iphone just does its things so much nicer/smoother/better looking, mostly due to the touch screen and then the UI. If your specifically want a better camera and video or grudge paying for an I phone then these 2 are the best out there (IMHO). there a few others but all have there idiosyncrasies. Ipod also has its apps.
There are lots of phones coming out very soon and windows release 6.5 at the end of the year.
There is a World Mobile Congress over in Barcalona just now with all the forthcoming goodies. check out http://www.engadget.com for all the news.
Best to prioritize your requirements and try a few phones. At the moment you will find that most people will say the Iphone has no competitors for overall usability but that will change this year.

Looks like perfectly normal (start of*) riding to me!

*By the end I’m sat on my saddle all the way just bumping down everything.

The waitrose trailer scheme would be brilliant for me. Cycle past three or four supermarkets everyday but I don’t think there are any waitrose in the west end of glasgow. All supermarkets should offer this.

This also annoys me but more the fact that they put them on during the day or at twilight when the amount of ambient light (due to it being day time, duh) is actually brighter than the sidelights.
Additionally I find dimmed headlights more bright than they need to be these day. especially the really focused ones: I had a Boxter behind my the other day and was convinced he had his full beams on but no they were just overly bright and focused and blinding me. Bah!

The original ‘Gorilla’ advert was to Phil Collins and as far as I could tell it was in time but they changed the music and the video speed to match as close as possible but you could tell. Gorilla Phil was great.
The kids are brilliant if a little scary. My dad bugged the hell out of the family with his balloon act.

Spesh armadillo, all condition or Nimbus for many years on all sorts of surfaces form clean roads to debris ridden canal paths. Also been using an inherited Schwalbe Marathon plus and seem good if heavy. I’ve gone form 25 to 28 recently and I’m enjoying the comfort for no perceivable loss in speed.

Good stuff. I got my GF cycling in to work along a cycle path, she’d never go on road. Mtb hasn’t been so successful. she was good first time out but I think she’s got a bit intimidated now. Still working on it.

I had an Ice breaker that literally disintigrated on me within 6 months. I was wearing it most days to commute to work during the summer with a back pack. I wasnt happy after the price I paid but didn’t return it as it was nearly 6 months old and I had long ago disgarded the proof of purchase. It began looking quite thin and then I put my thumbs through as I took it off a little hastily.
Recently I have done the same to my Howies NBL but it lasted far longer, over a year, with the same treatment. I have recently received an Endura top and being a bit thicker (and it was cheaper) I am hoping it will last a good bit longer. will avoid wearing on its own with a back pack.
Is it generally regarded that the penalty for a natural, smell beating baselayer is less longevity than its equivalent man made product?
I might try a HH prowool next time.

Asparagus and Roast/Mashed potatoes. Peppercorn sauce (yes seriously – unless you really don’t like it)

It a Shame your considering giving up. Its difficult if you have an incident. You must ride like you are invisible.
Are your lights permanent or are they flashing. My experience is that drivers consider bikes as slow moving and regularly misjudge the speed that can be travelled at. Flashing light – at about 1 second per flash – provide a good indication of how fast you are traveling.
    Stick with it!

Thought the images were brilliant but the narration script was pretty poor or was that just Tennants voice? 😕 It was OK as a programme. Obviously it was just a exercise in producing beautiful pictures. Wish I had HD.
