Eddie, I think there’s a setting to revert to the old behaviour of the home button. Go have a look

I run a 28 oval on my 29er. Got a 9-44 cassette. Ride all over southern uk/alps with that. Like to have the low gear for long tired climbs. Top end is fine too as I tend to ride off road down hill, so not really pedalling.

numbers on their own are not very useful…

That’s exactly what the op asked for. No need for you to comment on my response

I don’t think a Jeffsy would fit you. They have silly long seat tubes. Great bike though

The current model has only been available for 7 weeks so you are not jumping in at the end of a models life cycle

Come on now countZero. If the intelligent life was able to detect our intelligence of course they would come to us. That’s exactly what we are doing sending all of our probes out

Do yourself a favour and get your money back. I’ve got a pair and they are rubbish. There’s no grip at all from the sole. Oh yeah and they shouldn’t have cleat holes

give it a go. You can get a 20 strip roll from Amazon for about £12. It really worked for me when I injured my knee a couple of weeks before a big run. The website is excellent with its help videos. Kttape.co.uk

There are so many crashes and the ground is so hard, I’d definitely recommend a full face. Plus you tend to be flying along at a good old rate of knots

The latest I’ve read on it is adding fasted training sessions into your week builds more mitochondria. These are the energy supplying cells. Have a look at fasted HIIT on google and there’s quite a bit of useful info. I prefer fasted runs first thing. See what feels best for you

AM7s grip are terrible compared to 5.10s. If you want waterproofing look at the Freerider EPS

If you can, join a gym and do the group HIIT classes. I find I push myself a lot harder when in a class and the classes vary all the time, so it never gets boring. Pure gym have lots of gyms and lots of classes and it’s around £20 a month. I don’t work for them just found them great for the price.

You really need a selection. 8, 12, 16 and 20. Means you can keep good form for the different exercises on different muscles rather than trying to lump one weight around.

What Rob Hilton says. It could be that your brake levers are pointing down too far, so you are using your muscles to hold on to the bars. Try raising up your brake levers, say 15 degrees below horizontal. Changed that years ago after visiting Jedi and my arm pump all but disappeared.

Completely agree with you stevet1. There were some muppets putting a petition together to have the Swinley trail team remove the new Freeride line because they couldn’t ride it. It’s a shame they’ve completely tamed Captain Clunk. There was an 8 inch drop and even that’s been removed. There were loads of chicken lines on that trail too.

I had the same decision to make when I was looking for a house. The insurance companies were saying no way, so i moved somewhere else. Weeks later the place flooded and i was so relieved i chose somewhere else. It’s just not worth it. Life is to short to be scared of rain.

Good luck! Go get your teeth cleaned at the dentists. It feels great, gets rid of all the stains and crap and is another reason to not start again.

    It’s a shame brakes don’t just work.
Guide RSCs came with my bike. I then spent a week in the alps not being able to stop on some runs and stopping fine on others. As soon as I got back I swapped them out for XTRs.
Then I got the wandering lever on the XTRs, so I warrantied them and the new ones have been excellent.
I had deores on the other bike and they were superb.
It seems to be a bit of a lottery

Jimmy. I’ve got one of those but the coffee is only ok and full of grounds. I’m using lavazza ground coffee. I have a grinder and beans, so can do the grind myself if required. What do I do?
    Sorry op for the hijack

Topeak D2 is pretty good in a repeatable but not necessarily accurate kind of way

Entertaining how the auto power off is just fractionally shorter than the amount of time it takes to screw the valve back in, put the cap on and move to the other wheel

Glad it’s not just me then, this does make me laugh. I’m so close to getting a second reading but am not quite there yet. One day, maybe

The kit was supplied by the dive school. Everyone was free flowing because it was so cold. They were popping up like corks because they were free flowing and wanted to get out of the water. Everyone was learning so would not have been as experienced as you. The OP is asking about learning.

I learnt to dive in the UK. I’ll never dive again.
Agree that it’s worth getting the pool stuff out of the way in the UK but stay out of the quarries and sea in winter, they just suck!
Its good for your skills but who wants to be watching people free flowing and popping up like corks all day long.

I used to have to ice my knees after a long ride. I don’t have to since going absolute black oval. So, works for me

Rode Redlands on Saturday, it’s normally the wettest place. It was dry as a bone and riding well, so you should be good to go anywhere you like.

Gutted to hear of your break hope you get better as soon as possible.
    Thanks for posting your feedback.
We all rely on companies like dog tag to look after us if the worst happens, so it’s good to have honest feedback.
I’ve been using dog tag for years, so will probably not use them again.

Please let us know how you get on.
