Same as trading anything, its less hassle but you wont get its maximum value. Bike shops arent charities even if CRC/merlin etc give that image sometimes.

My mate has a 2010 Orange5 he bought in October for £2200 (S spec with extras) it was ridden once for about 3 miles on tarmac and they offered him £1100 for it in December. Not sure if its a good deal or not, he needed the money and they had plenty of stock so market forces come into play.

Jane Slalom Pro. Works great for us and it has a disc brake on the front for a bit of extra trail status.

You can get the full travel system which includes a cot that can be used in the car which also converts into a chair for awake time and the frame itself folds easily and pushes well.

Nice, i used to run an Impes on the back of my Alpinestars AlMega. It was the strongest rim ever but a bit narrow for big tyres and the brakes were a pain to set up.

Cant remember what happened to it. Doh.

1st gen MINI had a Chrysler engine which was unrefined, uncharacterful and uneconomical. Fitted purely on cost grounds because of the spend on the rest of the car.
Diesels used the horribly underpowered Toyota Yaris 1.4 engine.

2nd gen MINI use the 1400 and 1600 codeveloped with PeugeotCitroen which is a great engine, very advanced/powerful/clean for size and economical.
2nd gen Diesels use the Ford/Peugeot/Citroen 1600 HDI/TCDI engine which is also a good economical and clean engine.

Latest rumour is that 3rd gen with be sharing the whole front structure with Peugeot/Citroen.

JustMe, ???????????????????? I though everyone knew the MINI had a skanky engine.

    – Stockpile frozen meals in the run up to the birth.

    – AngelCare AC401 monitor, it has a breathing sensor so you dont have to keep checking. 2months in and no false alarms so far.

    – A really good breast pump, we have a Ameda Lactaline double pump which the NCT have on sale at the moment. Forget tommee tippee, they are crap.

    – Triple the number of towels and sheets you have.

    – Book 3 months off work.

I am 6'1 and need a 410mm post on my 18" 5. It also felt a bit short to start with as i started biking before the short stem revolution. Have learnt to like it now though.

Was v cheap nearly new so had no choice, 2 years ago i would have swapped for a 20in in the blink of an eye. Now not so sure.
