If you can, get dropped off on the road towards Hayfield then spin up and over South Head. Drop down into Chapel then get the train back up to Buxton?

Yeah that’s another I get from the mother in law, I shouldn’t go to the gym so much because I could get addicted….

I think you can’t judge Hermes as a whole as it all comes down to the individuals who get the local delivery contracts. Must admit all the different people we’ve had delivering for them over the past few years have been excellent.

I remember talking to a family friend who’s son also rides trials and she was telling me there was no point as I could never make a career of it?!
Also makes me laugh my wifes familys view on sport, she got back from a run the other day (she’s training for her first marathon) and she was asked by him and his mate how many calories she thinks she burned, they also keep telling me that I needn’t bother going to the gym I should just go up the yard and clean some calf pens out or fork silage up.

Looks legit to me, if you read through it does say for some of the Troy Lee pants that the stuff they sell is end of line or discontinued which is probably why the price is low.

Stuck at work till 6pm, only got one train due through here at half 4 so it’s gonna be a long aftrenoon. Also to make the day a little more exciting I’m suffering from flu and sat sweating buckets and shivering, hope I can sleep it off tonight!

He’s helped me out quite a lot over the years with money and stuff and we’ve only ever got him the basic christmas stuff like socks, box of ale, etc so thought it would be good to get something he can really use. Dying to give it to him so I can take it for a spin, build is aimed towards canal towpath/fireroad stuff. Just something relatively light and minimum hassle.

1×10 with 38 up front and 11-36 on the rear with a Zee clutch though I’m currently running flat bars with a regular shifter. Going to swap back to drops soon though so upgrading the brake levers/shifter to some Gevenalle GX (when they finally get them back in stock!)

Another shout for Frog bikes, my 7yr old has just outgrown his 20″ wheeled one and has asked for another as his next bike.

Absolutely acres of room for bikes in the back with the seats folded down. I loved the 2003 petrol we had but it started suffering with starting issues which we couldn’t find the source of, looking back I still think it was the timing chain but didn’t want to fork out the £100 Honda wanted to plug it in to their computers (was quite tight on money at the time). As for the 4wd mode I’m not sure about that tyre wear thing, ours had the same tyres as the inlaws farm pickup and was superb in the odd field and also commuting in the High Peak snow around Buxton which was horrendous at the time. Would definitely consider another.

Took my 5 and 7 yr olds today, both really enjoyed it and they don’t watch violent stuff as the wife won’t allow it.

Littlelife Explorer here, sunshade/raincover is simple to use, backpack is easy to adjust, comfy and really good quality.

Yeh, riding down the canal for a pint and a pork pie.

    Is that a euphemism??

Doesn’t sound like there’s a problem to me, just let them be themselves rather than possibly putting them in stressful situations to put your own mind at ease.

Be a monster pay month in January, I’m doing 6-6 on the 24th, 26th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 1st and 2nd of Jan. Boxing Day is 300% hourly rate, the bank holiday to make up for it is 250% and I think New Years Day is as well ££££££££££

I used to tighten the stem on the carbon bars on my trials bike with an allen key and never had a problem

But would be more enjoyable? I hate the newer CGI’d cockups of the originals!

I’m going to see the new one next weekend so fancy watching the previous films to get me in the mood.
I’m down with the idea of the machete order but does this include using the despecialized versions for the original trilogy??

My wifes Aunt always manages to buy the worst presents imaginable for her and her sisters yet seem to get cool stuff for my boys like Transformers. I remember a while back they bought her older sister who was about 23 some leather driving gloves and a matching purse?!

Acres of space in the back of our Verso. Got 3 car seats in the back and the boot has room for pushchair, 2 bikes plus more and I stick my wife and my bikes on the roof.

A few months back a friend of mine started a new job and that week (could have been the first night) went out with them. Apparently he ended up absolutely smashed so the next day the boss set up some chairs and let him sleep it off in the office!

We don’t really have a works do with everyone working shifts and no one being off all at the same time thank god, wouldn’t go if they did to be honest. I will be going on our local gyms night out though but I’ll be trying to restrain myself somewhat as I tend to be the last one out whenever I start drinking!

I’m not sure how old I was when I stopped believing but I do remember planning with my sister to set up a trip wire at the top of the stairs to see if it was really our dad. We later changed our mind after realising that if it was our dad our presents would get broken (no concern for the parent being seriously injured!).
As for ours, eldest is 7, middle one is 5 and youngest 20 months and I plan to keep the charade going as long as possible.

Condensation, if you’re unlucky enough to have trickle vents fitted then open them. Otherwise have the window in question opened very slightly (most uPVC furniture allows you to still lock them in a night vent position).

Always made me laugh when I used to work for a window company how many people would complain at the fact the inside of their windows were wet in a morning yet never opened them.

@Munge-chick for total disinterest in trials. That is until the Biketrial Federation did a comp to design a jersey for riders competing internationally and BC stepped in to insist riders must wear the official BC jersey…

Wow, I remember seeing that on a forum years ago when they first started building it but never thought it’d get finished never mind released. Funnily enough I just ordered the Wii version the other day for a bit of reminiscing!
