Sure if Marino did some he’d bung them in with a big frame order to save on costs. Other than that surely a framebuilder can do something?
Maybe 18 Bikes? Might be a bit iffy regarding strength/warranty/liability from a proper shop though?

There’s a guy I know who had a stint making steel trials frames and currently builds custom steel bucket seats. Can ask him if he can help?

I have a 36 and I’m just over the hill in Chapel-en-le-Frith. Spins out on downhills but is manageable.

Oh it’s bad, but that hasn’t stopped me and the wife burning through 5/7 episodes in two nights.
    Will finish it tonight 😂

Pick one of the Aldi versions of the Nespresso if you can. Had ours for years now, use it everyday and it’s brilliant. Mother in Law has a Nespresso and had to replace it under warranty twice in about the same amount of time.

To bring this back up a friend of mine has got a discount code for the Pulseroll guns to get 25% off if anyone fancies splashing out.
Brings the price down from £200-£150 and Pulseroll stuff is really good quality kit, the vibrating foam rollers are excellent!
Code is kerrie25 but only runs till Saturday

You paid £160 for a jigsaw specifically for use as a massage unit?
Surely buying an actual massager would have been a better idea, I know the Theragun, Pulse and Hyperice guns are pricey but I’ve heard good things about the Phoenix A2.
Can pick one up on eBay for about £60-70!

Sure you could pick up an old set of SIDS in good nick that would do the job or even some Pace carbon forks pretty cheap

I’ve got the Decathlon one. Surprised me that it’s not really hot as there aren’t many vents and I get hot really easily. Only downside is zero adjustment other than the chin strap.

Do peugeot still do that just add fuel deal for young drivers? Might be worth a look!

I’ve just opened an account as a back burner savings on the off chance we need a rainy day fund in the future.
Just chucking £200 a month in as it saves me dibbing into a savings account with online banking and there’s the slim chance I might win something which will be auto reinvested.
Two sister in laws drop £25-50 a couple of times a year with a few grand in so always worth a go.

I went 1×10 with carbon cranks, fitted the Genesis carbon forks, upgraded to Pro 4 evo/Pacenti wheels and swapped nearly all the bolts for Stan titaniums (had a load spare from a trials bike and once I’d started I thought I may as well finish it).
Absolutely love my CdF, it’s just got better amd better.
Will eventually do the tyre and go tubeless.

As above, plus different brands have different wheel sizes that work. My 8yr old moved onto a 26″ Wiggins last year and my just gone 11yr old is on a 27.5″ Trek

Couple of cable ties around the mount through a hole in the helmet (if there’s any close enough) is a good one that I’ve done before

    Set of DMR V6?
Same platform design but plastic pins so less likely to kill your work shoes yet still provide grip?

As I said you have to buy a big drum and it’s quite pricey. If you google it there’s a few vids on youtube showing how good it is though!

The main chemical that took the paint off was removed from Nitromors a few years back so now it pretty much does nothing.
There was an industrial chemical Halfords used to sell that did the job much better than NM but I think 5l was the smallest size it came in.
Will have a dig for the post with the info about it……

EDIT: Found it, it’s called Starchem

Do more pull ups and start hanging off edges on your fingers!

This has zero to do with the problem, I suffer with 35mm Raceface alloy bars.
I altered my tyre pressure and fork setup but still get shaken to bits.
I am a PT specialising in calisthenics so have spent a lot of time hanging off pullup bars and can confirm that grip has absolutely no bearing on the problem.
I also do a bit of brakeless street trials which usually means lots of death grip and drops with rigid forks and high tyre pressure and have never struggled.

I use a bum bag on my mtb and would happily use it on the road.
It’s a Dakine Hot Laps 2l, fits a tube, puncture repair kit, inflator and co2 cannisters, multitool plus a couple of gels, snack bar and even has a fold away water bottle holder.
Was recommended off here and I love it!

Just checked the front wheel I did, still fully inflated after 36hrs.
    Life is good 😎

I spent yesterday afternoon rebuilding my front wheel with a Pro 4 then converting that to tubeless. Taping the rim was an absolute ball ache and my £3 Sainsburys track pump only just managed to pump it up but hopefully it will still be inflated when I get home from work. Then it’s just the back wheel to convert!

A lot of the bike trials ones are seperate axle/bearings/endcaps but may be too long. Worth having a look on Tartybikes.

Nice, I like having the option of storing a bottle.
I’m currently using a Sweaty Betty running bum bag I stole off the wife which just about fits a tube, inflator, 2-3 gas cylinders, couple of gels, multitool, puncture repair kit and has a mesh pouch I stick either my gopro or a few graze protein bites.
Not really ideal and looking for a proper riding pouch so this looks like it could be the one, thanks for the review!

Sack the weights and go with something like Madbarz, Thenics or Calisthenics (depending on what type of phone you have)

I was told to store my bike with the dropper down but that’s with the bike stood normally…

Think my CdF is 2016 but when I swapped the fork for a carbon it saved a tonne of weight and slightly more responsive but the latter could have been in my head.
To be honest I’d just go for a Genesis carbon fork, not overly priced (or weren’t when I got mine) and the quality is fantastic.
Saying that I did run a chinese carbon fork on my old road bike (full carbon steerer jobby) than was fine and I’m not exactly a lightweight.

Gone for the superstar axle, seems to have decent reviews so worth a look for £7!

Will give it a try then. Probably the only downfall with the bike as the rear is 12×142 already.

I know this but I can either run a standard 5mm qr skewer with the forks sitting on the 9mm portion of the end caps or run different end caps to run a full 9mm qr axle which the forks sit on

Thanks for all the tips, as for the grip strength and press ups there’s no problem on that front believe me 😂

Dropped some pressure from the front and took a few clicks off the rebound when I went out round Hayfield and Kinder yesterday and seemed a lot better. Gonna look at going tubeless when I sort a new front wheel out to allow a better pressure at the front but also I’m still probably going to change the bars for something with a bit more rise as currently feels like I’m quite biased towards the front anyway!

I do bike trials as well so I’m used to taking the shock of big drops and stuff.
Forks are Recon SRL’s which I’m hoping to swap out at some point as they’re 100mm quick release so the front end is a bit flexy.

Few okish things like Under The Dome and some old guilty pleasures like Lost, X Files and of course Mr Bean!

My sons new Trek is running 3×8. I offered to upgrade him to 10 or 11 but he said he doesn’t need it as the gear ratios are already perfect for him.
