I run my old skool Ti-Inbred with two sets of wheels, and it works perfectly:

Commute: Mavic Open Pro + Hope XC, Conti Gatorskins (skinny and fast) or Schwalbe Marathon Plus (beefier)

    Off-road: Mavic 717 + Hope XC

Because the hubs are the same, there is never any issue with the disc brake setup when swapping wheel sets.

I’ve always ‘gone for’ medium frames – apart from an EBB Ti Inbred I had, which I sold, as it felt like a gate (20″ IIRC)

I guess I’ll start my hunt for larges!!

    Damn, wrong size!!

    Thanks for the input everyone!

The Medium DW in the classifieds caught my eye, so now it’s time to hunt for Large…

It’s orange due to a never completed paint-job…

I think it’ll be getting stripped back to the vinyl, airbrushed properly and sold on Ebay!

Maybe I’ll keep it for Halloween….

    Hey Boba Fett!

I do indeed want to sell it!

    Takes 9m QR, or 10mm or 12mm thru-axle.

    Comes with 10mm & 12mm adaptors, and 12mm axle.

Spare complete decal kit (yellow) and head-tube badge.

    All new ABEC-5 bearings fitted.

My email is in my profile, and I’m based in Ealing, West London.

    Cheers – Rick

I bought and refurbished an Intense M! – purely as a fun lil project, as it is/was something of a classic.

    I’m a bit of a grease-monkey.

Looks box-fresh now – and in need of building up if anyone fancies a new toy!

    Off for a service!

I did exactly the same thing tinkering with the RP3 on a 2nd-hand 5-Spot I bought.

Once it’s out, it needs a complete rebuild to refit : (

The guy on the phone at TFT http://www.tftunedshox.com/ knew what I’d done before I’d even finished explaining!

An unexpected £80 spend, but worth it to get the shock serviced and tweaked for my weight!

I did my Endura Stealth, Endura eVent trousers and Gore Cosmo a while ago – and they're all just like new!

1 – Make sure your washing machine has NO detergent/conditioner residue by running an empty wash, on the highest temperature.

2 – Throw clothing in the wash with Granger's 30°C cleaner.

    3 – Repeat step 2 with Granger's 30°C proofer.

    Leave to drip-dry.

Don't tumble-dry the Stealth. The 30°C proofer doesn't need high temperatures to activate it, and the Stealth is not made to be tumble-dried.

    Enjoy : )

Watched Jeremy Clarkson's "Speed" on Dave t'other week.

He did a bit on ejector seats.

Apparently 1 in 8 ejector seats fitted have been 'used in anger'

This rose to a peak off 1 in 2 during Vietnam.

They are all made by a UK company, and they issue any one who ejects with a special tie!

And the height loss is well documented : s

    back back back!!!

Been many times, and think near the back third is a good place to start.

Makes for good neck comfort, especially during 4-film-zombie-all-nighter-marathons!

Also – you can get the lift up, and arrive in style : )

Sitting at the front severely bends your neck – no fun at all.

Shove it in a dishwasher on a low °C setting, let it air-dry.

    Or

Rinse out with alcohol, vodka works if you've not got access to IPA (Isopropyl alcohol).

Personally, I never use bleed kits (Hope brakes), just the correct clear hose from B&Q/Homebase and an 8mm spanner.

When I did use kits, I simply drained any waste and left them to "air-off".

    No harm done

But is the iphone 4 so much better that I could justify giving this one to my wife and getting a new one or should I just use this one myself on a £15pm sim only monthly rolling contract and save a few bob? Decisions, decisions.

I bought a dead 3G (8Gb) on Ebay and fixed it – My first iPhone.

I'm currently on O2's iPhone SIM only £15 (12 month contract) and very happy.

I was very very very tempted to sell it for a profit and get the iPhone4, but when I dislocated my knee and landed on the phone I realised that I was much happier to have gouged/scratched a 2nd hand phone that a bling new one.

I'd love to have multitasking, but that would mean a 3GS or iPhone4.

For me, it comes down to pennies saved, once the initial want want want want fever has passed.

I've played with the iPhone4 in-store and they are nice, but maybe in a year or so…..

they donated sperm to a lady to inseminate her, she had the kids and then just handed them over to the dads forever, for a sum of cash.

The woman who carried/delivered the baby(s) wasn't inseminated. She was just the surrogate. (oven for the buns!)

The egg donors were chosen (also paid handsomely), eggs harvested, inseminated with one guy's sperm and then put in the oven.

That's why, under Californian law, the surrogate has no rights to access etc whatsoever, as soon as the delivery is complete, as she is not related in any way at all to the baby(s).

Very good documentary… wouldn't recommend waxing a babies mono-brow though!
