I’ve heard that there will be two new categories at D2D next year, Bog Snorkelling and Synchronised swimming…I’ve decided not to enter….

Well done to all who had a go…

Well it may have natural flex, but I guess the important bit to know is the effect of that little movement on the fatigue life around the area of bb.

Try Fork Juice spray. I use it regularly to lube the fork stanchions and so far I am quite impressed.

I thought trickpsyclist rang the bell somehow :), its your Transalps partner (well part of Transalps)

I did have the Magura Durins on my hardtail, found them to be quite good forks, however, at times they seem to have stiction issues which I did not experience the same with my FOX forks. However, lately been using some FORK juice to oil the stanchions and it seems to do the job.

Hope you have recovered fully from the Transalps

    All the best

ohhhh, I forgot to say…perfect shifting after 2 and half years of using Sram X0 (Shifters and read mech)…I’m not sure you can say the same about Shimano

Get a pair of XTRs – you may pay a bit more, but it will work out cheaper in the long run. I’ve had mine for about 3 years now, and they are rock solid. Zero maintanance….and they clip in/out same as they day they went in my bike.

    Also, I had a pair of egg-beaters and I binned them after a month….
