oh dear. Im now 210 pounds worse off, and have a pair of maguras that dont fit any of my current bikes.

How long do rose normally take to deliver, and do they send recorded?

There are also plenty of options for longer xc rides if you fancy exploring round chipperfield, chorleywood etc.

Whippendell woods in watford are worth a ride around, with some good singletrack and plenty of easy short dh tracks. It also normally stays quite fun to ride in the winter. I’d be happy to show you round one evening, if it wasnt so bloody dark now. 🙁

whats so bad about the english one? We probably wouldnt do it till april or may anyway when the evenings start to get longer.

Im talking about a multiday ride, on our xc bikes, but with an aim to riding fun tracks, not just fireroads. We’d rather go a shorter distance, and ride better descents than go long distances on fireroads.

or just run a large volume 26 inch tyre? You wont be able to run anything but a small 650b tyre even if they do fit so whats the point?

    hey,

Just my opinion on thle now,is, i have used the citreon oil for a while, and it does work, but recently, i re bled my slx and old ( non servo wave) xts with shimano oil, andthere has been a noticeable improvement.

If you have spent money on decent brakes, why be tight buying the proper oil? Ill never use citreon stuff again

Minutes, they feel alot better than my mates rebas, and a million times better than my old pikes. Ive got the 2012 120mm version, and the only forks i’d change them for would be the new minutes with the quick release 15 mm axle.

i should add, that is just my experience of riding both forks.

manitou minutes are excellent, they feel much nicer than rebas, and are very tuneable.

I second foundation by asimov, its brilliant, also i loved ‘the forever war’ by Joe Haldeman, a book called ‘midnight at the well of souls’ was excellent, and a bit different but check out ‘seahorse in the sky’ by edmund cooper.

They are all some of my favourites

have a serious look at the saracens, they are amazing value for money, and are preety nice to ride. I regularly ride with one of their dh team riders, and he’s abused his ALOT, (15 sets to flat general hooliganism, Big trails and its still going strong) and everything except the bars and brake are standard.

he rides the 320 pounds one.

    tom,

I personally feel that the pump that is there at the moment is quite good, but far too small! Can you expand it, maybe to join up to the new ‘beginners’ one you are going to build? I reckong it should be 3 or 4 times as big at least! 😆

bjj is very effective one on one, but wait till his mate comes round the corner and kicks your head in whilst your rolling around.

Just thought it should be said

Id say either the genesis, its a lovely frame, i loved mine till i sold it. Its light, has a bit of the steel ‘springiness’ and is just fun to ride.

Or maybe the prince albert if you want something a bit stronger. The on ones just dont feel as good from riding my friends bikes.

Or as suggested, the 456 carbon. Thats probably what i would buy

i know a fair few people who ride bmx who are aged around 40. I’d say if you have never ridden one before, and mainly want to ride tracks or use it just to mess around on on the way to work etc, 24 inch wheels are definitely worth considering. They feel much nicer on a track to me, and are easier to adapt to if youre coming from mtbs.

ah right, why did they get slated? what type of steel? This one is red as wll, and would probably be used as a winter singlespeed/ hack bike
