Have a look at my classifieds ad, it could be of interest. Otherwise my experience of their wheels is they need tensioning a few times to get them right.

Looks great. In my experience chain devices always need a bit of bodging, and the granny ring tabs always end up going…

Across headsets are very very good quality and value. Look them up on the net, then search for mountain mania in tring as they are the importers. I dont work for them, Ive just had a few headsets, an never even needed to touch them.

sorry i forgot to say, its jst going to be a front tyre, as i i love the ardent that i have on the back, as its fast rolling and grippy.

Im tempted by the single ply minions, but i?ve been told they are still really heavy? Maybe i should the weights.

in terms of kicking someone in the nuts, if someone is trying to hurt me, i dont care what i have to do to stop them. Anything goes. I haven’t even thrown a punch at someone for about 10 years though.

The only time i’ve really lost it was seeing the girl who’d broke up with me a week before, being very ‘friendly’ with another bloke. If my best mate hadn’t been there to drag me away it might have got ugly 🙁

cheers, I think i’m gonna give it a go! so why 15mm off if you were lowering them by 20 mm?

Also, where is the best place for buying the spacers? And how does shortening the spring affect the spring rate, eg make it softer or harder?

Thatsounds like alot of hassle, having to cut spring. If I only wanted to reduce it by 20/ 30mm, woul i be able to do it without cutting the spring?

dont forget rvolution bike bike which is quite near. Absolutly brilliant tracks and uplift service, although it does look a touch more techy that stiniog. ( ive not been there though)

i found that article very boring. Just ride whatever bike you like. Some people like me are lucky enough to have multiple bikes for different types of riding, some aren’t.

This looks great, its just a shame about the no 20 inch wheels rule. Is there pre entry available?

Has anyone got anything for an electrician? Looking for a career change, and the renew!ble energy sector is of particular interest

i use a 32 tooth and find its fine, but then i tend to ride tight techy tracks, rather than fast open stuff. I cant see it being an issue at all though, and think its worth it for the benifit on climbs

if you put one in the loft, there are regulations about what type of fans you can use etc. Its often easier to put a fan in the window

I ride it yesterday, it was a lot of fun, everything is rollable or has an alternative that is. It should also hold up fine in the wet.
