Not a problem here in Austria. Turn u without appointment and wait. Same goes for Dentists. The health care system here is amazing, It was one of the reasons why I left the UK.

Ebikes are just another bike. I have recently decided to get fit again so am doing quite a bit of cycling. I use my road bike and my 2006 Specilaized Enduro. My wife doesn´t have time to train and get as fit so she has 2 options when I go riding

Option 1 – Stay at home
Option 2 – Bring her eMtb along for a ride with me.

When we are out in the big hill here in Austria I take my eMtb too.

This means I get to enjoy riding with my wife quite a lot. Without ebikes, I would be mostly alone riding.

I could hardly speak English until I went to Secondary school. Born in Bangor and raised in Snowdonia. I lived 3 years in Portugal and am now in Austria since 2016.
I made it a priority to learn the language. It makes it so much easier to integrate into the society and culture where you decide to live. I do sound foreign though.
Maybe some incomers from over Offas Dyke should do the same.

why just a bit?

I´ve had it for over 40 years. The most important thing is keep moving. I have it in the Sacroillac(spelling?) joints and if I have a phase of no exercise I get pain.
You cannot let it rule your life. Accept you have it, you will get some days better than others but keep going.
Winter is particularly bad for me with the cold temperatures.
I do exercises and only take pain medication if I really have to.
The main advice I can give you is exercise, little and often.
Also accept that there is no miracle cure so some days will be bad but others will be ok.

I have done tours in Mauthausen, Austria. It is a very sombre but important place.
The camps are left to educate as to why it happened, what happened there and a way to discuss what we should do to make sure it never happens again.
