Well I sold my Epic as it did my head in.
Lovely bike when it worked. Shame was that wasn’t very often.
I’m sure they’re much better now but I’ll never buy another bike with a home made shock.

You can believe whatever you want regarding signal loss but believe me, in it’s current guise the iphone 4 is awful on 02. I’m not an apple hater as I loved my 3G.
It drops the signal continuously for my home in snowdonia all the way down to west Berkshire.I had decent strength 3g signal with my old 3g, this pile of sh**e needs to be kept on the windowsill.
It just annoys me as I pay significantly more per month for what I perceive to be a lesser quality phone. All the toys are nice but at the end of day it’s a piece of equipment for making and receiving calls and it really does not do that well.

I have the same problem.
I had a 3g that I loved. It died when I got caught in torrential rain on a run. As I have loads of apps decided to get an iphone 4 as an upgrade.
Worst mistake ever. Overpriced beta version that needs a bumper to get a signal. Even with on the signal’s much poorer than my previous iphone.It also crashes constantly – it has been back to apple twice!
Do yourselves a favour if thinking of getting one – wait 12 months and hope apple get their act together. In hind-site the disastrous launch where it all went wrong is typical of this garbage. I should have got a 3GS.

Started riding coed y Brenin fire roads in 1990 as i lived just round the corner. It was on a 21 inch giant escape.
I’m only 5’6, got conned into buying it – ” of course it’s the right size for you”. Loved it though and thrashed it till it snapped.

My previous iphone had full signal at home.
I have to keep this pile of crap on the window sill to get any signal at all!
Seriously, I am not an apple hater (hence the reason I upgraded to an iphone 4) but its really no good in its current state.
Don’t bother until this gets resolved.

Having to turn off 3g is just a faff you shouldn’t expect with a top end phone.
I do a lot of mileage with work and the phone’s as bad in good 3g signal as it is in gprs areas.
I never had a problem with my previous iphone.
You have to face the fact that the iphone 4 is not a good phone – end of.
The other toys on it are nice but it should at least make and answer calls without constantly being cut off. Absolute bloody rubbish.
I would not recommend it to anyone.

I got an iphone 4 3 weeks ago as my 3G died in my pocket when I got caught in some serious rain.I loved the 3G – a fantastic phone and I never had a problem with it.
The iphone 4 is the worst thing I’ve ever had.
I don’t think I’ve had a single call not dropped (if I can get signal at all).
I’ve just bought a bumper for it but really can’t see why we have to do this.I would like a phone to actually make calls without having to buy a flippin cover.
There is an obvious problem with this phone! I am an apple fan but really should have just got a 3GS.
Until this reception problem has been resolved I would suggest you steer clear!

I just broke my 3g so got an iphone 4 32g as an upgrade as I have loads of paid for apps.
To be quite honest I’m not overly impressed.
Can’t quite see why it would exceed expectations. To be fair I’m underwhelmed. Yes it’s better but not by much.
But, each to their own as they say.

Coed y brenin had become very boring. The ranger in charge of trails had no idea and really didn't are much about the place.
He destroyed some of the best bits and built terrible sections as he had no idea.
I only live down the road but never bothered as it was really that poor.
Since they got rid of him and employed someone who actually rides and cares about the place it has really improved there.
I love it there now and some of the new stuff recently built is actually very good.
Its well worth going there for a blast.

Whoever thinks that's funny is a very sad individual.

The new sections are fantastic.

I went through 7 shocks on my 2008 epic in 13 months.
Specialized were very good each time and just sent another.
I finally got a yellow spot version and had no problems.
Specialized were very apologetic and gave me a £200 voucher.
I have since sold the bike to my mate who has had no problems at all with it,

I live 5 mins away and got a bit bored at coed y brenin so hadn't ridden there for quite a while.
However I was there Sunday and absolutely loved it.
It's bedding in well so becoming technical again.
The descent above the waterfalls on the MBR has some fantastic stepdowns on. I pushed back that section 3 times.
Credit to the new stuff being built there as well.
Thank god they got rid of the previous trail warden and got someone in who actually knows what they're doing.
