If it’s the same as this one then it will work fine here too with an adapter. The label says Input:100-240V 50/60Hz 0.3A, Output: DC 15V 0.3A

It looks like there are other variations though, so do check.

The EU has the same voltage as us so it shouldn’t be a problem. Look on the power supply plug if you want to check what the input and output specs are.

If it came with an EU plug you could just use a travel adapter.

Maybe you’re just lazy, no harm in that 🙂

In my experience it’s often much more complicated than that. It’s not actually fun being a procrastinator. It’s stressful, frustrating and can have very real impact on your life.

how does he or you feel about dying. If you go into the forces this could happen.

According to this: “Overall, in 2018, the UK Regular Armed Forces were at a statistically significant lower risk of dying compared to the UK general population.” (but I guess they would say that!).
    https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/789873/20190328_UK_Deaths_National_Statistic_2019_O.pdf

However, I’d be worried about ethical implications (e.g. killing other people), adjusting to life after the forces, impact on relationships, long-term mental and physical health…

Perhaps he’s been mulling it for a while, but if not it strikes me as pretty bad form to expect an answer about something like this at short notice.

Not surprised they’re struggling. Clinton’s is the last place I’d go to buy a card. Full of old, flowery, boring cards. The stores aren’t even very nice to be in. Much prefer a good independent shop.

I imagine that leaves Germany with more money in the pot to put up wind farms.

All countries should be reducing their use of fossil fuels and investing in alternatives. Fossil fuels will run out, they pollute the environment, and contribute to the Climate Emergency. Carrying on business as usual is short sighted in the extreme.

Why stop at fracking in the UK? Theres a whole word out there…

UK to use finance meant for green energy to support fracking in Argentina

    How about the economic angle:
    https://www.ft.com/content/3b0b5fae-fd72-11e9-b7bc-f3fa4e77dd47

Energy prices for oil, gas, wind and solar have all fallen over the past five years. If the UK fracking industry had not been halted by concerns over earthquakes, the economics of trying to produce small amounts of gas in the face of strong local opposition would have forced it out of business eventually.

It’s shameful we have such short term planning. Seems crazy to subsidise fossil fuels by billions more than we do renewables. What’s that about a Climate Emergency?

Fabulous. No wonder the government aren’t publishing an economic impact assessment of Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal ahead of tomorrow’s vote.

I’d be cautious about this one. Lots of problems reported with audio apps too. Always a good idea to give them time to work out the bugs.

There are cheaper deals but it depends what speed you’re on and if line rental is included etc.

Here’s a good place to start looking:

Take a look there for deals on other utilities too if you haven’t already!

I’ve always felt like consistently staying on top of outstanding invoices and persistent chasing has worked best. If it gets bad enough, and you can find a replacement, then firing a bad client can actually be a good move in the end.

I quite like my Audio-Technica ATH-M50X’s. Pretty comfy, folding, satisfying sound with a good bass end. I’ve heard the M40’s are also decent for a bit less cash. You’d have to add a cable with a mic separately.

Finance companies fault for not assessing affordability properly.

Parents fault for not educating their child about keeping to a budget and having enough savings for an emergency.

Societies fault for worshiping cars, poor town planning and not providing better public transport in many areas. Also societies fault for making debt too pervasive.

Best to go for a high SPF (eg 50) since most people don’t put enough sunscreen on to get the full benefit.

Worth knowing that the offending plugs are from 2003-2010.

Six incidents of mains electric shocks is not to be sniffed at.

The BBC article says six incidents but does not specify if people were shocked.

Otherwise you could try to get something similar from Farnell, RS, Mouser Rapid etc.

I really want another Dave Smith Prophet

Used to have the 08 and have the 6 now. It’s a much better sounding synth IMO.

Currently got GAS for expensive outboard. Really want a Thermionic Culture Phoenix and Culture Vulture, but they’re a serious investment!
