  • Lol – shit in bed, great at editing music

    Once again TandemJeremy is correct

Sand the pads as they sound glazed

    Yep offside. I stand corrected

    I’ll help

I’ve got pro tools and logic audio. Piece of piss

Watch the highlights Ioum, crossed the line dude. Commentators won’t admit it cos they are xenophobic

It’s 1-1 as that goal was a goal

It’s like watching a woman giving birth – laborious & painful

    Mop my brow please doc

Rooney = shite and that’s swearing

4 missed heading opportunities that Carroll MAY have got

Either way I’m ashamed to be English (damn this beer is strong)

100% bench him. Personally i can’t stand him, such a petulant child and you are correct with what you say. We qualified, drew and won

Trouble is the media will tear Hodgson a new one if he doesn’t play him.

I’d burn him with the garden rubbish as my boy idolises him

I wish I could use it but my iPhone 4s (the newest bloody model) drops the signal constantly. Granted I’m deep in the woods. I want to be part of the problem instead of just commenting on it

It’s all a storm in a tea cup, will be talking about what colour frock the queen is wearing next week (1st on a floral number with velvet elbow patches)

Strava has increased both the audience and participants for the whole process.

I believe this has summed up any potential problems that strava has caused. Good comment

I’m a sound engineer and love Electronica music (Alex twin, squarepusher & Luke vibert to name a few) but please don’t think any form of wired synth will replicate the energy and velocity of a drum kit. I’ve worked with both for 15 years

That said they are excellent, uses less room and can play without disturbing anyone. Good luck and your never too old to learn to play an instrument

I live in notts. pics please to help identify

If I see them I’ll give them my 1 inch punch thingies and retrieve the bike – seriously I will do all I can if I see it

Reevil, I’m sorry man. Would you be kind enough to give more info over the break in please. The more info we can all share the better we can protect ourselves

Will keep my ear to the ground buddy

This is one thing I don’t scrimp and save on

Hello, I’d like to buy that orange 5, some carbon handlebars and a set of schwalbes please … Oh, have you got any dirt cheap brake pads

Lol@ the musk in this thread

I’m a solo rider so I’m out but have to agree with Ernie, very astute sir

Quick — everyone think of obscure artists like the other music threads

Can’t remember the name of the shop …. Oh yes it’s just come to me, surosa cycles in Stockport.
Mate (I wasn’t with him and new to mtb) picked up his 1k Cube hard tail and everything was loose. Headset, wheels, seat on rails, handlebars. The guy even tried to say the seat was meant to move on the rails with the rider. Anyway he came off it so I had a look at it and found the above. Following day I called them and was furious, spoke to a female owner. I advised i’d sorted it all but thats not the point

To be fair she did advise to ask for her when it came in for it’s service. He didn’t and got nothing. Personally I would avoid anywhere they employ idiots who puts people’s lives at risk rather than tighten a bolt or two

Sounds like a case for accident direct – they will love your mate

Near me and I’m devastated for you. Had an uninsured bike nicked myself so understand the heartbreak. So much love has gone into it (seen the pics on the other thread)

It’s trying to represent the horror of war, maybe not ideal for an 8 year old.

My problem with the other suggestions are hollywood movies and that = fantasy

    That’s a porn star isn’t it?

    Lol typo o

I remember the cumcumber version – 100% better and just amazing

    Agreed

The world at war will teach more than any Hollywood movie and it’s presented beautifully by Lawrence Olivier

    11-10

Over priced but great sets. My boy collects Lego starwars and we sold some on eBay last weekend – one of the few toys to make money as it gets older – worth an investment

I bought one identical as yours 2nd hand about 6 months ago and paid £450, I had to bid to go to £550 so was very pleased. Worth every penny

Ps my pops wants one so may have a buyer?

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mobile/MobileModels.aspx?ModelID=17390 = What I’m looking at but it’s the post to IS that’s confusing me. Found this old link ….. http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/advice-needed-regarding-formula-brakesshimano-adapters .

They seem to think shimano would be fine but still not sure on the IS bit

1-0 to mojoman I believe. You’re serve onceinalifetime

Thanks guys and happy bday Swede

I’m finished for the day now and propping up the bar, hangover has been replaced with a raging thirst and a need to be disappointed with Prometheus at the flicks

Bikes out of service due to lack of bb press for equipment but picking it up tomorrow on my day off. Ordered workstand no2 on my list. Speaking to a chap on ebay about some Easton havon carbon bars – £70 nearly new but been cut to 700mm so not sure

ALSO bought a laidback elite as masterpiece is just silly money. I think the mrs has bought me a cycling weekend away, a chain and some other exciting stuff – cant think why I’ve got no mates?

    Lol

    Now that’s a bad joke 😉

Ok narrowed it down to these though the bottom one is out of stock

Mrs just called me to say something has been delivered from the postie – me thinks she has bought me something too. Love being 43!!

Edit 2.. Your username is ace btw….

nicest thing anyone has ever said to me …

    Thanks for the bday wishes

Is the bike stand worth getting a tray attachment? Sounds like a winner but can’t think straight with this hangover. Hands sweatin’ white face and power vein throbbing in my neck. Not sure about cider and never heard of the other

Maybe they have given him one post clip

Powerful vid! I’d donate some new tires

    ^ not mine but fantastic

Been surfing a porn site and without realising switched to STW and saw the title ‘is this crack fatal’ 😯

    Some excess ‘strapidge’ there sir

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss mate. Happened to me too … Gutted

Some great stories … I regret not getting into bmxing. I blame my mother, she bought me a road bike (I use to call them racers) that was HUGE!! It put the fear of god in me. Even remember being stuck on a round about in rush hour traffic in Sheffield when I was just a slip of a boy. I swear all the drivers eventually stopped as I was nearly in tears lol

Mates had grifters, choppers, boxers & bmx – i went from a Raleigh Gresham flyer complete with diamond white rear satchel where i used to store my stretch Armstrong – to a adult sized road bike at a tender age of about 10.

43 in 10 days and not had an injury (that’s hasn’t healed real quick) ever. I’ve broken bones and had stitches but these had only had me off the bike a week or two max

Yeah me too. 3 companies dealt with my claim as wheelies could only supply a third. Originally they were fantastic, very polite and allowed me to transpose the cost of an item they would order to a new fox rp23 from mojo. To me that was fantastic – 3 weeks went by and I was getting peed off. Eventually I demanded the claim to be sent back to lloyds tsb and would claim the cash from them. This seemed to kick them into gear (no pun intended) and they sent it next day delivery.

Best part was they had a discount on the rp23 (though they didn’t have it in stock) that I knew nothing about and sent me a chq for about £45

    Fantastic experiance
