Most of you posters have played right into LA hands. He wants people to argue he’s innocent as there will be no court case, therefore no proof (innocent till proven guilt). If he went to court then he and all his fans wouldn’t be able to cling onto this as evidence would be presented that the prosecutors believe is worth the cost of a trial. He on the other hand feels the opposite

How would you all feel to be accused of a crime and offered the chance to clear your name only to reject it?

If I’m innocent then I want to clear my name in the highest court available. If I was guilty I would balk at the idea of court. I have no proof, but the probability of his stance screams guilt to me. Add other evidence (super human feats beating others found to be dopers) and I’m (and the doping body) feel his 100% guilty. Shame really cos I want to stop slating him but with the short sighted nature of stw posters I feel I have to play devils advocate

Im not expert but it sounds terrible. If you have proof it’s been delivered then yes take it further. Make sure you advise them of your actions giving them time to salvage your faith in them. If not then trading standards. From their point it’s poor, they should be battling for our business

The issue for me is that we’ll never know for sure which and he has now ensured that by refusing to mount a defence which I think is the point of not mounting one.
He did take every test asked of him but, as alluded to in the article, there is supposedly strong evidence that would have been produced in court that he did actually Fail several of these tests but managed to get them covered up or discounted for various reasons.

Personally I think he was hoping that by aggressively defending his corner up to now that no case would ever be brought. Now that’s it’s obvious that this would be going to court then his best strategy is to do as he has an offer no defence which means the evidence will never be laid out in front of a court where a judge will have to take a view on it’s veracity.
Should any of the evidence come into the public domain without it having been tested and ruled upon by a court then he can still deny everything and claim that “they’re out to get me!”.

Cheats will always prosper. We have set up sport that winning is everything and some will do all they can to achieve. Goes back to dopers in the Olympics. Ban them all for life. They know the risks before administration, naive apologies & & arguments for rehabilitation are excuses to allow the drugs to prosper in sport

Tyres are about 6 months old with 1 months riding on them before storage. Rims about 14 months old. Thanks I will read that link. I’ve fitted dozens of tubeless/ust with and without schwalbe. Never had this before
