Very nice 👌 Out of all the bikes I’ve seen you have, on here and Hedgehog, this is the one I think might suit my needs the most!

Might be worth asking the venue if they have any recommendations?

Nice little fifteen mile off-road loop from home with three or four pubs involved 🍻

Just buy another one and it will magically appear, probably in the last place you looked too. Always seems to work for me.

Definitely not, as I found out last year!

Have another hour to go before I finish my night shift and not looking forward to trying to get some sleep. Hopefully I can get at least five hours, might have to be cider induced though.

Start of with the Lavazza Red and go from there, once you have got the hang of the Aeropress then start to experiment.

Making the most of this working days malarky, went to the local with my sister, four pints of the local ale and a burger and I’m well happy with life.

Good luck TJ, enjoyed the first thread on your travels, looking forward to reading more about this stage of your journey.

PS, which lock did you go for in the end?

Normally work twelve hour night shifts but for June working the day shift. Main reason, so I can sit outside the pub in the evening sun and have a couple of pints of ale, mission accomplished 🍻 first one didn’t touch the sides.

A bottle a night should be fine 😉

“Integra – only just got yours!!🤣🤣

For a minute I thought in typical STW fashion you were going to be a dog sitter near me who could take them!!!!”

Lol, was going to recommend someone to dog sit but you are a bit to far away for her.

On mine it’s a toss up between the Roost ti bar or the ti eeWings. Would probably have to pick the bars as the cranks clear the frame unlike Shimano ones.

I can highly recommend the Roost bar’s if you don’t mind the cost. Be aware though, they can take a fair while to arrive, nigh on two months in my case. Went for the 31.8 mm size with a 30mm rise.

Looks like LDPE or HDPE (low density polyethylene/ high density polyethylene).
Not a clue what it’s for though.

Excellent purchase, love it! Have always fancied a Brown Bess myself. Enjoy watching British Muzzle Loaders.

How about just parking a car there to form a chicane?

@tomhoward bars have arrived, took nigh on two and a half months to arrive though. Looks like they are made in China according to the return address, but seem to be well made. Not fitted yet as waiting on a new stem, will get a weight for them before fitting.

Just paid £300 to have a wisdom tooth out privately, NW Kent so everything is London prices.

If nothing else, just apologize and make it up with your girlfriend asap. The rest can sort itself out later.

@lovewookie thanks for that, will have to get the tape measure out and try a few different combinations.

Just ordered an Iroko and wondered if I could run a 29″ fork on it? Hopefully I can as would save me taking one off a 27.5″ bike.

    Too much.
One titanium bike and a steel one.
Showers Pass jacket, Giro helmet, various tops and shorts.
Fancy knives I didn’t need but are lovely to use. Passat TDI estate, Michelin cross climate tyres (not for the Passat).
Mmmmm, think I might need to spend less time on here, looks like it’s costing me a fortune!

@molgrips what is the sizing and fit like on the Showers Pass trousers?

Colourway. Winds me up no end!

Needs to be spelt without a U for full effect.
Sorry, did contemplate spelling it like that but couldn’t bring myself to do it,

@tomhoward will let you know how I get on with them. Currently running a set of SQlab bars with Revgrips on a Nordest Britango Ti.

Looks quite good, might have to actually get signed up to an amazon product for once.
+1 with regards to the short bloke.

Excellent idea, any thoughts on which charity? I’d happily donate £30/£40 for that sort of effort, I’m on the Kent/Surrey boarder.

Showers Pass, can highly recommend it after being out in Saturday’s rain all day. Come with a detachable hood and in bright colours, plus STW members get a discount.

Have a 2005 VW Polo that had 52,000 miles on when I got it in June last year, it now has 76,000 miles on and hasn’t been a problem. Was my mother’s car before and she had it serviced every year with out fail, hardly ever taken above 50mph until I got it, now do a minimum of 70 miles a day mostly at motorway speeds.

Went into my LBS to talk about cranks and walked with a set of eeWings, new bottom bracket and fitting tool. Lesson learned, don’t go into shop with spare money.
