@TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsSTR if you keep an eye on their site they often have 20 percent off. Very happy with mine, both are very nicely finished.

Not had an email but have had a letter in the post today, saying the same as your email. I’m one of the odd people who still get their bill in the post, although I do send a meter reading every month.

Have to travel to Medway City Industrial estate every night for work, always glad to leave there and head home to my little part of Kent thirty miles away.

I work in the plastic injection moulding industry and for us it works out cheaper to send waste product to landfill, than to recycling. We do try and reuse what we can  (by regrinding) but a lot of the plastics properties change once moulded once.

Personally at home we recycle everything that’s possible, buy most of our meat, eggs and vegetables from within a three mile radius.

Unfortunately I also have to travel 80 miles a day to work and back, though I do usually run a car into the ground and it’s not worth anything.

I do agree that if everyone did a little bit it would add up to a large amount. Think more needs to be done on educating the population.

Going to T. Wells tomorrow, looking forward to it. How long is it, what time is it likely to finish?

Hate autumn/winter, working twelve hour night shifts and about two hours travelling means I only get to see daylight at the weekends.

Not looking forward to this winter with all the sh1t going on in my life at the moment.

Another one of the only when it gets really cold. To be honest though, most of my riding these days is just bimbling.

Good point, been a long day at work. After fifteen years being a Honda it’s probably rusted away.

The Mythos stem just looks unfinished, for that price I’d want a better quality finish. Will have to have a look at Dward’s website again as not been on it for a while, can feel the wallet groaning already.

Can also recommend the Kirk and Sweeney, comes in a nice bottle as well.

Have a look at Vittoria Mezcals, not sure I’d want to run them this time of year though. Barzos are another option.

Had an email from Royal Mail this morning to say they have my parcel, so looks like it’s been sent. How long it takes to get from Northampton to Kent is another matter.

As said above, the main pipe is pushed up the old cast iron pipe and then reconnected. The holes outside each house are or should be were the old pipe connect’s to the mains, usually we would try and insert the new pipe up the old one to the meter. It’s then connected to the meter at the mains end, you then smash the cast iron pipe around the new pipe and weld/melt a valve to it. You then connect the house service pipe to the valve and pressure test to make sure there are no leaks, if ok the valve is then dilled through to the mains.

I have the rapide sl, it’s the perfect length and width for me at 6’4″. Find it very comfortable and silent to sleep on, unlike some other mats. Also it comes with an inflation bag so you don’t fill with condensation from your breath when blowing up. Not cheap but I’d buy another one if needed.

“Nice bike mate, give us a go”   Know where that picture was taken🙂

Think I’d rather have a go on the Nordest, just to try gearbox bike. Still not to sure about LLS geometry yet, maybe it’s me and the way I ride a bike.

Me,@kryton57 , @davros all think you should get an Orbea Occam 🙂

Think this is probably the only option you haven’t tried yet, so give this a go and it’ll keep some people happy.

Have you tried buying a bike because you like the colour and look off it, instead of worrying about the travel and geometry to much?

Always enjoy your thoughts and ramblings about bike purchases and races.

    Could try these people -https://www.oxygenbicycles.com/shop-2/s-cross-mtb

A friend of mine has a few on her hire fleet and they seem ok.
