My induction hob boils water in a pan very quickly, but stays relatively cool.

Did you properly follow the eccentric loading program that your physio probably advised?

Great weekend. Managed one out of three on the high five, and very excited he seemed too!
The oggy oggy oggy kids were pretty excited too. Food choice was poor, I thought they were better last year?

That sounds like a good plan. Your actions so far sound perfectly reasonable, but I understand that you feel as though you should have taken action sooner, don’t beat yourself up though.

As an osteopath, I would say – back to different GP.

A friend took his two out of school for a trip to Alaska, the Head said that she couldn’t authorise it but it sounds like a great trip, hope you enjoy it.

Better to tell them and preserve your relationship with the school then throw a Sickie, because a four year old is going to keep the secret – right?

It was a great event, possibly not the best choice for a first tri though!

There is a site just up the hill from the yha in llanberis, which is also handy for Pete’s eats. Fairly basic but nicely chilled

Went at the weekend, had an awesome day. Very glad that I bought an uplift pass off a chap with an injured wrist, a few of my mates were riding up, don’t think they could really make the most of the descents after riding up.

I don’t see the problem, friend of mine has some little speakers on his top tube, it’s great, and a lot safer than headphones. More than three bike lengths away and you can’t hear it anyway so just ride quicker and escape the noise pollution.

There may be more recent research but this should be a good starting point.

If you’re going down the electric hookup path then a small electric kettle.

We do all the cooking on a single burner briefcase style stove (breakfast) and a BBQ (Weber smoky Joe), plus BBQ needed for toasting marshmallow.

Assuming you have kids, coloring pens and paper, and playing cards.

Mini-v on my Jake, the brakes now work! I would look at fitting an inline tension adjuster too, makes adjusting for pad wear and removing wheels easier

I found large sections of the first of the baroque cycle boring, but stuck with it. Started the second but couldn’t be bothered trudging through the first boring bit.

Dragon’s Egg was mentioned earlier, great book. Am enjoying for the win currently thanks to this thread. Just finished the two long earth books, first one better than the second, too many ideas not followed through.

I’m about to be in the same position ho hum, currently only paying 20 pcm, can’t see the newer phones being that much better that its worth going up to 30 odd pcm and having to pay up front. Deals are a lot worse than they used to be!

It can be busy on weekends, but just be polite, give way to walkers and stay off the west side of the middle hills (the paths with all the “no cycling” signs)

Should take between 2.5 to 3 hours I reckon, depending on route, you can easily make it longer though.

Thanks to the stw hivemind, this has reminded me to get the scissors on my style repaired. Again, large sentimental attachment (gift from a dead friend) so have just emailed whitby & co.

They aren’t supposed to xray without proper clinical need, I’m astonished at that group on offer. Surprised the gcc allow it, as an osteopath I would advise anyone to walk away from any practice that tries to sign you up for this type of course of treatment.

I use a black buff cut into thirds, one small strip as a headband, works for about an hour and a half before the sweat soaks through and starts dripping. Probably doesn’t help your “not looking like a gimp” obsession though.

Great work in such a small area, well done mbswindon! Not really worth a long drive just to ride here, but if you’re within half an hour well worth a couple of laps, and excellent weather proof surface on 99% of the track.

It’s a great place to live. The thing that I’ve noticed here is the relatively high proportion of people I meet who have actively chosen to live here. I’d suggest looking into all your options, there’s some lovely villages with really good schools around too.

Have you considered talking to Brian? I’m sure he could work with your time constraints to come up with a training plan. Glad you enjoyed your laps so much Jo, or was it the jump of doom?

My 2.25 racing Ralph was not great ;) the Ron did OK in terms of grip on the front, just clogged up badly in the clay.
