Poor reaction from Farrell and robshaw to the card IMO. Pleased Wales are through but it feels a bit wrong to go through like this, as aa said, our scrum is going to get pumped :(

Opinel also do a knife which you can shape the handle yourself, I think it’s called ebauchel. Moon raker knives sell them. I had one as a gift, enjoyed planning and making my custom knife.

I’ve had issues in the past where the bevelled portion of the crown race is not high enough to contact the bearing. That was hope crown race with works angle set

Don’t worry about water bottles, just leave a normal bottle near the uplift queue, have a drink there. Some cereal bars might be good to carry though.

A group of us rode Snowdon on Saturday – it was pretty grim on top! Rangers descent is awesome though, and the weather on Sunday at Antur made up for the grimness!

Yeah, it’s me Nick. Hadn’t checked the leaderboard, didn’t realise you’d got it back, well done! Needs to dry up a bit now I reckon Steve before you go for it! Still bottling your jump on kamikaze though Nick, love the rest of the trail, just not convinced i can do the jump and make the corner!

My son seems to be able to invent new stuff to make out of his star wars Lego without any problem. But then, he does the same thing with toast to. when I was about 9i was over the moon with my space Legoset, and carefully followed the instructions to build the space ship, a useful skill. Then I dismantled it and created something else.

odd charging system and very unique so if you can’t find it you are stuffed, you are supposed to change the earplugs from swimming to running and sound is still crap and can never work out if turned it off ….a little rant

Never lost the lead, so no problem there but shuffles have unique leads too? Never changed ear plugs for different activities, and sound seems fine to me over my tortured breathing! And a flashing green led isn’t that confusing surely?

Personally I hate headphone leads bouncing around when I run.

have you checked that both pistons are moving freely? Also trying leaving overnight with rubber bands holding the brake levers in, occasionally tapping and flicking the hose and brake to send any air bubbles up towards the reservoir, then check if the fluid needs topping up.

I get about an hour recording, I did get about 35 minutes first time, not sure if the improvement was due to giving the battery a charge cycle or disabling HDR? My down button has now totally stopped working but got a full refund from accmart. To be fair I didn’t find anything I need to use that button for, on and record is all I need! May have to speak to you at some point Steve regarding your soldering skills, if I can find a suitable replacement switch!

Windows live movie maker, I had to install a codec to get it to work with the .mov files, and is quite slow initially loading but then is OK for the editing bit, still learning though! Have you got any videos you’ve done using the gopro software?

I have the same firmware version mau00149, Shame about the time lapse, wanted to do some footage of my boy building Lego :(
Reedspeed, don’t like the weight on my helmet, i was happier with this, using the handlebar mount, colours came out much better without HDR. Not sure where the black border around the video has come from though Snowy mtb ride on the Malvern Hills 2015:

I think the point is that whether we get genuine items or not has sod all to do with evomtb!

Yes they do, they link to the cheapest Amazon seller – hardly the way to guarantee genuine products!

Going via evomtb couple of days ago the purchase went through accmart, bit nervous now! Looking at the options it looks like one of the options is fulfilled by Amazon, wish I’d gone through them :|

Tri-clubs should be very welcoming, and have a broad range of abilities so you won’t feel out of your comfort zone. I also like the swim smooth stuff, pool toys make a big difference too, pull-buoys, kick boards and fins are all brilliant for encouraging particular aspects of technique. Really focusing on one element at a time of your stroke works well, rather than getting frustrated at trying to do everything at once.

I like mine, comfy. not had them long enough to comment on longevity but they have no signs of wear so far, about 6 weeks. feet stayed dry yesterday.

I only had radiotherapy, but I found that for about a year I felt more fatigue for a couple of days after activity but could still go and ride for several hours. Your treatment is likely to have very different effects though (i had other stuff like sore mouth, complete loss of taste for a couple of months, hair loss in the area), which is why I suggested trying to find a specific support group where you are more likely to find people who have experience of the treatments you will receive.

I had lymphoma over four years ago, so different disease but still classed as blood cancer. The treatments are excellent now and getting better all the time, try not to look at survival rates etc. As they are generally totally out of date, and don’t represent the current diagnostic and treatment rates.

I would consider looking at support groups on facebook etc. It can be good to have somewhere to vent that isn’t family and friends! The other thing I would say, is while all the chin up stuff is great, it is OK to feel utterly miserable about what is going on too! You don’t have to be “brave” all the time, and I don’t believe anyone can be, don’t beat yourself up when you have those times – it doesn’t make you weak, just human.

The very best of luck to you.
