Check the terms of what constitutes “income” for that 50% figure, if your accountant is doing their job properly, could be a smaller number than you think…
I’m from rural mid Wales, and farmers are generally known by the farm name – partly I’m sure because of the tendency to reuse family names (my cousin, uncle, grandfather and myself share a first and last name) and that there are so many hugh’s Powell’s etc. (All derived from the patronymic naming mentioned by Flossie)
I know you don’t want to know, but the mountain warehouse bags really aren’t breathable.
On the plus side, their returns policy is excellent, I had no receipt but told them it wasn’t as described, got my refund (on gift card – but who doesn’t need 20 quids worth of mint cake?)

Boris, yes, I could see Boris dad dancing to this.
Boris’s dad was a remainer and critized his son for being on the leave side, so what is your point ?
We use izettle on our phones – do they already have smart phones (android or ios) that they could use? can then use the laptop to login to the izettle webpage and export the transactions to spreadsheet of your choice.
I was impressed by how much quicker the dressed cut and grazes healed compared to those not covered by the dressing. I had always been a fan of let the air get to it, not any more! Sudocrem is great, and I always keep some iodine gauze (inodene?) to put under dressings.
Thank you Munrobiker, gav and grum, I love the rangers decent off Snowdon, if that’s any measure of ability, the dudes trail has been mentioned by my traveling buddy so that might get done. Is laggan riding OK now, he was up last year and apparently lots of tree felling had been done and some of the trails changed? (Sorry for the post highjack Op)
Anyone got a link for the Ben Lomond route, going up to Fort William for the DH and would like to do a “natural” ride, any other suggestions for the Fort William area (not the Ben, I’ve walked it once, way too busy to be worth the push IMO)?
ankerdine was going to be my suggestion :) the climb out of pershore seemed “fun” last time I rode it. Old Wyche is a toughie but only (relatively) short, I find Holly bush harder because of the length.
Let me know when your going if you fancy company, could be interested. Quite fancy something alongs the lines of the talgarth, ponsticill area, or near Mach would be good?
I’m happy with my elite mag, with 10% british cycling discount from halfords it’s a bargain, and with the myetraining app and a bluetooth speed and cadence metre gives some nice numbers to load into goldencheetah (8pounds for a years subscription to save and export your workouts, the free version lets you see your current workout, but doesn’t save it). I find the resistance just fine mine on welshfarmer, but I have got a proper chainring :)
The four months are going to be very intense, tough pregrading sessions, a lot of pressure. Sounds like you need to discuss this with her instructor, perhaps postpone the grading so she can enjoy just training. From what I have seen, the training and pressure up to 1st kup is very different to what she is now experiencing.
Went up in April with minus six wind chill, I was comfortable with merino base and wind stopper softshell. Only bit that was really cold was my hands, because my gloves were wet! Take spare gloves and a spare buff, extra tubes, and whatever you’d normally take.
