or use a wet teaspoon under the membrane, ..but be careful you could end up with egg on your face.

commuting in a car is more comfortable for me. I never actually enjoyed commuting on a bike after a few years.
traffic conditions and general driving practices are awful for bikes and only seem to get worse as congestion increases.
quit while you are ahead. or wave 2 fingers and roll the dice.
I would say track days and touring if you want to bike :)
    good luck.

you can use an old axle cut in half as a homebrew alignment tool

have a look at sheldons page

2.4 measures about 52-56mm depending on pressure, Bontys XR4s have taken over and I prefer the transition on them on my narrowish rims.

    broke a few SRAM/Shimanos but never a KMC…. yet

demoed them, tried a burly build on the dexter, I’d say it can take just about anything within reason, very capable bike, pedals great, but prefered the more solid feel of the dixon, would depend a bit on what/how you will be riding.

they are both great, lifetime wtee and freeborn are very helpful.

if its easily/economically repairable and no major damage , take the car back for scrap value, if you find a buyer you will prob make a few quid, or get it fixed and dont worry about resale value etc.

shoping around usually worth the time/effort.

on a sidenote..if you own and are registered keeper of 2 cars your NCB will only apply to 1 policy?

really bad luck, I have not broken a KMC chain. (yet)

I always find asking about some other expensive items you are considering buying improves the customer service ;)

I think you need to try a few out, they are all pretty nice bikes, geo/travel comparisons etc. are interesting but there is nothing like getting you leg over ;)

dont rule a bike out just on the numbers!

devinci dixon is a real nice bike, SP design does not feel like a wallowy beast, just smooths out the trail and it begs you to let go the brakes and take the manly line!

hope your recovery is going well!

    cheers

read the reviews and got a pair of 2.4 BC protection, grippy, fast and light but now up for sale ,

i did not like the transition to the side knobs, there is a drift zone before you get there and its fine if you throw the bike down into every corner but on a long rides on unknown trails i found it got a bit tiring.

great tyre in every other respect,

2.4 is about the same as a 2.2 RQ widthwise +/-

you do not mention if you do other sports or just cycling, cycling uses a specific group of muscles and can lead to poor alingnment of the knee cap, strengthening the
underdeveloped ones and streching can help if this is the case.

either way rest and recovery is vital initially, read up and talk to a specialist.

this website might give some clues?

you are changing the load impedence presented to your source using a Y split, you are also effectively connecting the inputs of the amp together as well.

drivers have an impedence not a constant resistance, and there should be no need to
alter the x over if it is a good bi ampable type.

i used 30amp twin and earth on a system once  swear it sounded better…no really;)

piced up a pair of these on sale, cromo pedal inserts, bit heavier than XT, but dont really notice but feel a lot more rigid, they are 7050 Al- not the old cheese like 6061s, comes with a bb as well.

lived in Spain over 10 years, loved it, ups and downs just like anywhere!
Not a good time for working and young people there at the moment, you would all need to speak the language, and adapt to the lifestyle, it is pointless to go thinking otherwise. Living in one of the Expat “ghettos” would be an option, but why bother then?
    Running a bar is often awful/expensive/totally time consuming/stresful etc…

I would say no,maybe move within the UK closer to work and spend time together as a family.
